If you intend to stay in 1-Bedroom Villas in the Summer

Sold my DVC this year, but summer is usually wide open at 7 months. I have had no trouble getting 1 bedrooms and even a studio a couple years in a row (BRV and BWV) around 7 months. Things are always subject to change especially with new resorts and more points in the system, but if you are primarily going in the summer, I wouldn't sweat home resort too much.

Total newbie question;
Me: Family of 5 (kids 16, 13, and 5)
Looking at the points charts some of the studios are listed as 5 person occupancy, but the 1br units are listed as only 4 person occupancy. How could this be? Would certainly explain why 1 br's are booked last.

Actually it makes perfect sense the 1 bedrooms are about more living space and amenities not more sleeping space
