    Hello folks,

Our family of three, Dad-mom-6year old son, is heading to WDW for the first time in Jan 2018. We're staying for nine days with 7 day hopper ticket to WDW.
Is Seaworld doable in a day and feel like we got our days worth or will it feel like a rush?

If it matters, we are not big coaster riders and we will be catching the Linx 50 bus as transportation.

    Thanks folks!

No matter what you do, you won't get to see and do everything in one visit. I have been multiple times and still haven't seen all the shows.

Having said that, there is plenty to fill your day - you just need to prioritize what is important to you...shows, animal exhibits, rides, etc. and be realistic with what you can accomplish. Not being coaster-lovers works in your favor since many of the rides at Sea World are coasters.

I would suggest checking out the Sea World website (https://seaworld.com/orlando/) and looking over the park map (https://seaworld.com/orlando/park-info/theme-park-map/) and showtimes (https://seaworld.com/orlando/park-info/theme-park-hours/) to get an idea of what you will be able to fit in.

    Have fun!

If you are not going to do the coasters, I think you should be able to see the 4 shows in 1 day

Very doable especially in January on a weekday. Look at the show times a head of time and plan them out. I personally think its an easy park to do as a whole.

I agree that if you aren't going to do the coasters than you should be able to see all fours shows and visit the other major attractions in one day. As others suggested, check the show schedules and plan your day around them. Use the first hour to visit your top couple of attractions. Fill in others between the shows.

Our trips from WDW to Seaworld were made via rental car so I can't comment on the time investment of taking the bus.
    Wishing you a pixiedust: visit!

I think it's do-able if you aren't interested in the coasters.

I would suggest Uber or Lyft instead of the bus, though!

Very doable. We were there Thursday for the first time. We saw three of the four show options and rode all the coasters (two of them twice). Biggest issue is that I suspect January is still the off seasons. We found that a lot of shows and rides were closed (the tower wasn't open, Antartica didn't open until very late). We arrived at opening and left around 4, but we didn't do any animal feedings or special experiences.

Side note - Pets Ahoy was hands down our family's favorite non-nighttime show between WDW, SW and Universal. Try not to miss it!
