mostly middle schoolers?
I understand aplap on western has lots of younger kids. Which rotation has mostly middle schoolers?

plaplap. That seems to be the mid range. The laplapl is mostly adults and older teens. That being said, it does vary. We had plaplap our first cruise (kids were 8 and 10 then), then tapt our second cruise (kids were 9 and 10).

I personally don't like Parrot Cay. It's too loud for my preferences. The food itself was fine, but I just didn't like the noise level, so we'll request LAP for our 10 day.

tkd lisa's experience has been mine as well. However, there are always exeptions to every rule. It really depends on the demographics of the ship on a given cruise. While traveling as two adults/no kids, we've almost always had LAP, but have always had kids in our dining room, and occasionally at our table.

We got PLA with a middle schooler and middle elementary age children.

We had PLAP for the last cruise with a middle schooler, the one before was TAP and he was 9. This one he is high school so I am not sure where we will end up. Are you first or second seating?

Lisa

We had PLAP rotation both times we've cruised. First time (3-day) our kids were 11, 8 and 4 and my dn was 7, and the second time (7-day Eastern) the kids were 14, 11 & 7 and my dn was 10. We prefer second seating. Going again next June for 7-day Western. Will be interesting to see what rotation we get then since kids will then be 16, 13, 9 and dn will be 13. I understand you can request a dining rotation but it is not guaranteed. HTH

We had LAP with our middle schooler on the 7/19 cruise and were seated with two other families that had a middle schooler also.
