Kidani map with elevators marked

We are going to AKL for the first time and staying at Kidani. We have a std 1BR(waitlisting a savannah). I've seen a bunch of posts on room requests: Don't request close to lobby, specify an elevator instead etc. Does someone have a map with the locations of the various elevators marked? Also any pics of the various windows that are in the lobbies where you can look out if you don't have a savannah view?
We are more concerned with being too far from the lobby, buses, Jambo, than a good view since we may wind up with standard anyway.

For elevator location, see this generally available map of Kidani http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/Kindani_Village_Map.jpg

On the map:

The lobby faces west. To the east is the Sunset Savanna. The Pembe savanna is northwest to north of the resort. The north wing is the one on the left side of the map (as your facing it) with 9 building pods from the lobby and has the pool to its west. The south wing is the one on the right side with 8 building pods (quite small one at the end). It is the wing that runs toward the Jambo entrance. The bus stop is on that wing.

On the map you will see six red AED signs in the building, two of them are just off the lobby at the beginning of each wing. The elevators are where those red AED signs are. The two elevators closest to the lobby have no name. On the north wing, the elevator between the second and third building pods from the loby is the Rafiki elevator, the one between the sixth and seventh building pods is the Pumba elevator. On the south wing, the elevator between the second and third building pods from the lobby is the Timon elevator, and the one between the fifth and sixth building pods is the Zazu elevator.

The entire building is approximately 2/3 mile long, with the south wing a building-pod shorter than the north wing. The parking lot is mostly under the building on the ground floor, but includes some parking areas just outside the building shown on the map, and parking is possible anywhere from the lobby to the end of the sixth building pod on the south wing and from the lobby to the end of the seventh building pod on the north wing. You actually cannot park directly beneath the lobby because there is only a road running through there on the ground floor, some staff parking spots and the Sanaa restaurant. From the main road, you can enter and exit the parking lot only between the fourth and fifth building pods from the lobby on the south wing.

The pool is gated and the shortest trip to a gate from the building is down the Rafiki elevator to the ground/parking lot floor. The shortest walk from the building to Jambo is down the Zazu elevator to ground floor which gives you about a 1/4 mile walk to the Jambo front entrance. If you have standard view, the standard view rooms on the south wing are the ones facing the road in the first four building pods from the lobby (there are only savanna and no road side rooms in the rest of the building pods on that wing). On the north wing, the standard view rooms are in the the first three building pods from the lobby facing front entrance and pool area (that pool area is actually up a hill somewhat so cannot really be seen if on lower floors). There are then rooms that were converted from savanna view to standard, all on the north wing, the exact group not yet clear, but known is that it includes about half the fourth building pod from the lobby at the bottom of the Pembe savanna and all of the sixth building pod from the lobby; it possibly includes some in the seventh pod but only room I haved seen confirmed for that pod is the GV -- the only two standard GV's are at the end of the sixth building pod and beginning of the seventh facing Pembe and those are the only GV's facing Pembe.

Don't have lobby or other view photos but be aware you have that walk-out area just east of the lobby and the Community Hall (on the second floor where the lobby also is has a nice, long balcony outside of it where you can go for viewing.

Thanks so much for this!!! I had seen maps but wasn't sure which elevator was which...thanks for such a thorough reply!!!

Dredging up an older topic, but it is also the first result when searching for "kidani elevators".

Here is an annotated version of the map using the great info above:
