It was no fairytale vacation.

A mom says she was kicked off a Disney cruise by armed guards — for being too pregnant to go on the trip.

Emily Jackson, 22, was all set to embark on a family vacation with her husband, two kids, parents and siblings and was waiting for her room keys aboard the boat in Miami Thursday, when Disney staff approached her, KMOV reported.

They told Jackson she couldn’t be on the boat because she was 25 weeks pregnant — one week past the House of Mouse’s policy, she said.

Jackson had flown from St. Louis for the family vacation. She said her doctor had given her permission to travel and that she hadn’t heard about Disney’s policy.

Her father tried to see if there was any way the family could still take their long-anticipated trip — and that’s when things got ugly.

Video Jackson posted to her YouTube vlog “The Jackson Hive” shows an armed guard telling the mom to, “Wait outside. Step outside” as he leads the family to a door.

The guard scared her two kids, smirking and laughing as he ushered them out while toting an AR-15, Jackson said.

“It was just terrible. They had the guy with a gun following us, they had the K9 unit,” she told the station.

Jackson and her family — including two kids under the age of 2 — had to wait outside in the heat for almost two hours while crews tried to find their luggage, she says in the video.

Footage from another video about the ordeal shows the family sporting custom-made “Keep calm and enjoy your Disney vacation” shirts.

“I felt so bad because I felt like it was my fault that everybody couldn’t go,” Jackson says in the footage.

Jackson said her issue isn’t with the policy but “how they treated us after that point.”

“I’m mad because of how they treated me and my children…. The fact that they felt they needed AR-15s to escort us out.”

Jackson said Disney offered to reimburse their tickets for the cruise but not their flights to and from St. Louis.

Disney Cruise Line did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

From Disney's Cruise FAQs:

https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/faq/health-safety/pregnant/

"Women who have entered their 24th week of pregnancy as of their embarkation date or who will enter their 24th week of pregnancy during the cruise will be refused passage due to safety concerns.

Neither a doctor’s medical statement nor a waiver of liability will be accepted. In addition, Disney Cruise Line cannot be held responsible or liable for any complications relating to pregnancy at any stage"

Port Security at Miami has to deal with drug trafficking, hence the weapons and K-9 units. Just my opinion, but this story seems like a non-event made bigger by yet another vlogger that has to make everything into an event about themselves! Ah the joys of social media ...

I'm guessing something happened between these two sentences that might not reflect well on Ms. Jackson and/or her father. It would be cool if someone had THAT video...

So she knew enough to ask her doctor to check her out and give her a waiver but didn't think to check the disney policy on being pegnent.. yeah right

Watching her second video video now where she "asnwers questions" but a lot of it is a very very overproduced video before she gets to questions/answers.

her comments
- she didn't know policy because she didn't book vacation
- claims she is upset about the treatment and they were just ready to leave and din't want to go anymore. Disney did try to get permission to let her go but she didn't want to go anymore.
- again about the social security card. Not even sure what that matters about the rest of her video. Sounds more like just trying to make disney look bad.
- people were mad that she was filiming to start with. To me sounds like that may have had something to do with her getting kicked out of the terminal.

I still think the is just looking for attention.

I don't know how workers in the customer service industry have the patience to deal with people like this? How in the world does anybody think shoving a camera in their face is going to help things along ...

Exactly. I think the family caused a scene so port authority security got called (who have to carry weapons due to their job) and they made requests of the family which they refused and so they got kicked out of the terminal.

You only need to watch how edited that video is to know stuff is missing. She videos the security guy telling her to go outside but none of that happened in the 2-3 minutes before that that lead to that situation. I bet it was something like the security guy saying "I need you to sit over there and turn the camera off while the cruise line looks into the situation" and she started complaining about how she's a vlogger and has a right to film wherever the wants and then gets kicked out.

I have to say I have very little interest in people who don't do any sort of research on special needs they may have to requirements they need to fulfill before their vacations.

My parents took our family on a cruise last spring. We knew when we started talking about it that we were going to try for a baby around that time so I immediately extrapolated out from when we were going to start trying to see the farthest I would be alone at the time of the trip to make sure the airline and cruise line would let me go. I mean even if they hadn't planned for her to be pregnant at the time she still knew at some point before the trip that she was pregnant. Why would you not check into that before you left?

Not to mention the article doesn't say where the cruise was going to but they mentioned it being hot outside the cruise terminal so that makes me think they were going somewhere tropical and I think pregnant women are still being told not to travel to any of those areas due to risk of the Zika virus so I find it hard to believe her doctor gave her the ok to go to an area that could very well be detrimental to her health.

Sounds like a publicity stunt and seems like they caused a "scene" in order for police/security to be brought in.

This is the same type of person that would sue Disney if something happened to her or her unborn child while on board if they were allowed on board.

My question is, does Disney require pregnancy "documentation" before boarding the cruise? Why not just bend the truth a bit and say "yep I'm 23 weeks!" and like everything in life, just take that risk upon yourself.

Part of the online check-in asks if any party is pregnant, and if they are at 24 weeks or would hit 24 weeks during the cruise. If so, they are to be denied boarding. So yes, technically you could lie and say no, much the same way that many lie when signing the health form saying no one in the party has a fever etc.. The major difference is that there is no facilities for any type of pre-natal care on the ship and you are risking the health of the child should anything arise. But yes, you are correct.

Here is a good video from somebody about the situation and if you want to get a feel for what the family is like read the comments. Any sympathy I had left reading how they want to just attack this guy for his opinion and he tried to be very reasonable.

We cruisedon RCL when my wife was 23 weeks. It was just a question on the health form, they didn't ask for any verification.

I believe the rule is a CDC rule and our OB knew all about it as well. 24 weeks is the line in the sand because that is when the fetus is deemed viable if born. Ships don't carry any equipment to care for new borns, much less extra premmies. Since a baby isn't considered viable prior to 24 weeks they don't need the equipment "just in case."

There was a 23 week baby born on a RCL ship 2.5 years ago that did live, by some miracle. The only life support they had for him we're heating pad and child size masks. They had actually told the parents he had died even as they were doing everything they could. I think it was 10 hours before they got him to a hospital in SJU.

Anyways I'm shocked an OB would actually sign something that said it was okay, because they all understand the viability line.
