What are your favorite Non Park things to do. We are going down a couple days early before we get on our cruise, but aren't doing the parks this time. Want to make sure we don't miss out on anything super fun.

Thanks, Erika

We stayed at Coronado Springs last year when we went to meet our new grandchild. We spent some time at the pool, watched fireworks across the lake, had breakfast over at Animal Kingdom Lodge and saw the animals.Very relaxing visit.

If I’m not doing parks, I always have to take some kind of boat ride—POR to DS, Poly to MK, something. Go to Trader Sams at the Poly and/or get a Dole Whip float. Shop and eat at DS. I want to do The Void next time—friends just got back and enjoyed it. If I was there on a Sunday, I’d do brunch at Cali Grill or House of Blues. Always wanted to do Characters in Flight. I second the vote for viewing animals at AKL, plus try to catch some of the cultural activities and eat at Boma. Do some resort touring if you’ve considered one but not tried it. Run or walk the loop at Beach/Yacht/BW in the early morning. Do a pontoon fishing excursion from there. When do we leave??!?! LOL

Fort Wilderness is a fun to tour. Also, Art of Animation can be fun with all the Pixar theming. I find it hard to tour resorts when I'm at the parks too. Just not enough energy in the legs to justify it.

We will be heading to WDW before our cruise (non Disney) in December. We are spending 2 nights at BLT and we plan on going to Disney Springs, my DDs and I are having afternoon tea at GF, resort hopping to the different resorts to see the Christmas decorations, having dinner at CG for my DHs b-day then heading up to TOTWL to watch the fireworks, taking the monorail into Epcot (not getting off) just to see the inside of the park to get a glimpse of the Christmas tree there. Depending on the weather, would like to rent a pontoon boat and go around 7 Seas Lagoon/Bay Lake. This is the first time we will be in WDW and not be going to any park, I can't wait :goodvibes.

Ride the monorail and visit the different monorail resorts. Spend an evening at the boardwalk or go to POR and watch the Yehaa Bob show at the River Roost bar. Very kid / adult friendly event. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Keep in mind TOTWL lounge is only available to DVC member or those staying at that hotel. They will scan you MB to confirm this or ask to see your DVC card and photo ID before escorting you up to the lounge.

Thankfully we are DVC, but have never done TOTWL....might have to check it out this trip.

Disney at Christmas time is my favorite! Enjoy!!!

We stayed at SS for a weekend and rented bikes, pool hopped, played tennis and basketball, pool, ping pong, crafts at the community center and Disney Springs in the evening. We all had a blast just going with the flow.

We have done a two trips without parks 9$ and 5 days) and still had a hard time fitting everything in. Almost every Deluxe resort has a tour. Sanaa and Jiko restaurants at AKL have tours with free food. The boardwalk with free entertainment, the dance hall, Jelly rolls and boat trips between HS and Epcot. Disney Springs can be a full day. Golfing is something we like to do including the miniature golf courses. Shows/food like Hoop De Do, the luau, Ohana and Tea at GF Just taking the time to explore the resorts, their architecture and theming, and the activities each schedules every day.

We really were surprised that are days filled out and we had to do a second no park trip to cover the things we missed
