November questions

hi my hubby just told me we have to switch vacation to November. I was looking at the 12th but realized that's Veterans Day weekend. So I'm now looking at nov 6th...can anyone tell me which would be better? Also do they give discounts for November or is it usually really busy? It's after Halloween so I assume it won't be as crowded. I'm also worried if they're taking down Halloween decorations will big rides be closed?

You can follow this thread to see what's happening in November 2018. It's a work in progress...

Here's the one for this year 2017

Dapper Days (http://dapperday.com/) is scheduled for Sunday Nov 4th. This might be where you'll be able to tag into for on-site room discounts.
November Disney discounts, if there are any, generally do not appear until the first part of September.

If you're concerned with ride closures due to overlays, check this thread out to see what the trends have been in years past.

Disneyland has been experiencing a surge in attendance during non-peak times. This is why you'll hear "there are no slow times any more". You can assume it won't be as crowded but be prepared for CROWDS.

Over the two times you mention.... I'd sign up on the DapperDays website. Book an on-site room through their event. Pack my duds and join the group on Nov.4th and stay a few extra days to really enjoy DLR.

Have fun

The equivalent Saturday this year was LOVELY - very low crowds (like... super low) and nice weather. I wasn't there on Sunday but heard it was pretty crowded (which Dapper Day usually is), but not unmanageable.

That doesn't mean a whole lot for next year since things are so unpredictable these days, but it's promising.
