If it were me and I really preferred a later cruise, I would certainly try. And I would approach it with the expectation/ confidence that it will work. I think sometimes when we go in with a questioning mind set it makes the CS agent more likely to just easily say no rather than just trying and maybe it works. I mean this about most CS, not Disney specific. Good luck!
