Ok so where are you dining for New Year's Eve?

Already planning New Year's Eve! I will be staying at the Poly and would like to hear your plans for dinner and New Years Eve. Last year we were at the Dolphin and dined in the UK. Had a nice meal but oh so crowded. We left park before midnight and watched MGM fireworks from our room. This year we plan on being back at the Poly for the countdown but haven'y planned where we will dine.

For you I would suggest Narcoossees or Konas. Cal Grill has a special NYE dinner celebration, so you might think about that.

We did the special NYE dinner at CA Grill both for 1999/2000 NYE and for 2003/2004 NYE.

It is FANTASTIC! Expensive - but worth it!

Food stations of every kind imaginable, DJ and dancing with Mickey and Minnie, lots of photo ops, incredible views for the fireworks, casino tables and fun gambling with prizes, souveneir glasses and hats and photo albums - the list goes on and on!

We loved it both times and would do it again.

I think CA Grill is THE BEST viewing site for the perimeter fireworks.

Are children allowed( one is a tween and one a teen) at the CG?I believe there is a special event at Narcoossees too but I think it would be almost $ 600 because the children are treated as adults. Not sure that it is worth that to me. The CG does sound wonderful. What time does it end in the evening? I was thinking of watching the fireworks fom the Poly.

I checked out the price for New Years Eve at the California Grill. It would cost $1600 for me, hubby and kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For that amount of $ I would rather be in Times Square I glad you had fun though! I want to be in our Poly Lagoon view room or on the beach to watch the fireworks. I think an early dinner at Citrico's may be something I would consider
