Purchasing resale/lien- what does it mean?

So, I am waiting on the closing for a DVC resale purchase (money is already in escrow). I recently learned about the Orange County Comptroller website so I looked up the property. There are liens listed from earlier this year. How can I tell if they are cleared/paid off? What does it mean in terms of the sale? I won't be responsible for these will I? Oh my, I feel so ignorant!

The seller will have to clear the liens before sale, but that is why you buy title insurance as part of the process. They will make sure you end up with clear title.

...and it probably means that the owners did not pay (all of) their dues in 2023.
