Hello everyone: Hope this is the correct place to post this question:

its a two part -

1. Alcohol beverages for quick service credit, if we go to a quick service and do not get a beverage at time of credit use, can we go to another place to get an alcoholic beverage without using an extra credit for the beverage purchase, or must we get the alcoholic beverage at the time of our quick service purchase (are the alcoholic beverages credited separately from the quick service meal credit)

2. Can you trade quick service credits in for a 1 table service (similar to how you can trade 2 table credits for a signature credit)
Thank you for your help
Martha

This is why planning is important. If you are counting on the alcohol making the qs plan make sense financially, study the menus. There is no alcohol sold at any qs at MK and most other locations have limited options.

BOG does have alcohol at breakfast and lunch, you will need an ADR if you want to eat there, though.

I think you have to order an alcholic beverage with your meal if doing he DDP, you cannot order one later at a different place without paying for it.
Some people have used QS for snacks but no exchange for a QS meal for a table service meal. Some people either pay out of pocket for a 2 credit meal or use 2 table service credits. We are doing deluxe dining for that reason, we have 2 singnature meals (2 credit) planned.

1. No, but it you don't want to drink it at breakfast, you can pour it into a travel mug of Disney mug you bring with you.

2. No. You are not "trading" two credits for a Signature meal. Signature dining costs two credits.

So obviously it’s no to both of your questions as stated above.
What you CAN do is:
-trade one QS meal for 3 snacks
-receive an alcoholic beverage with your entree in same transaction (must be an entree, not a snack)
-substitute your drink for a side or dessert at resort counter service locations (resorts only because of the refillable mug that you’ll already have as your drink). If you want an ice cream, they’ll time stamp your receipt so you can come back to get it so it won’t melt while you eat.

This.

Additionally, you can use one TS credit to pay for one QS meal, and you can trade a TS credit for 3 snack credits...both horrible uses of a TS credit, but allowed nonetheless.

Horrible uses, but still far better than letting the credit expire unused.

IIRC the onsite resorts have single serve alcohol (wine, beer) in the fridge cases - I've never tried, but perhaps they can be bought in the morning. If so you could use a QS credit at breakfast to buy an entree, and just put the wine/beer in your minifrig for later.

Just noticed this thread - seems you can indeed get alcoholic beverages at breakfast from the reach in fridge cases.

But then reports that it isn't allowed (alcoholic bev at QS resort breakfast) so don't listen to me! https://www.disboards.com/threads/quick-service-alcohol-selections.3656989/
