Rosie Roams in 2016 Amish Country/ Sad News

2017 we are going to Lake George for a Hawaiin Weekend in July, Myrtle Beach in ctober ( Marv & Pat we will looking for some tips ) I know we go to the Carollina Opry, Legends , some gardens with statues and crocodiles or alligators , and a day in Charleston, Sounds exciting . Hoping that the coasters are still open for Dawn, I am sure she will want to swim in the oceon but that would be a No No but she can paddle .Then we go to Disney November 30th for 5 nights , Can't wait for Carol to see the decorations !!! Will probably not do another TR just keep everyone update on other TR's . When I finally retire I will become a fanatic again!!

Rosie, great to see you posting again! How wonderful that you get to spend so much quality time with your great grandson! (Nearly wrote grandson, you don't seem to be old enough for that "great").

Nice plans for the year! The Christmas season trip should be lovely! Make sure to take in the story tellers in EPCOT, they are wonderful!

I am just loving my Brayden!! I am amazed at all the little nursery rhymes etc that I am remembering and singing to him. Our song though is "You are my Sunshine " He loves it when I sing that or maybe he's laughing :rotfl2:I love the Storytellers , will definitely be seeing them again!!

You've got plenty of fun trips planned out, Rosie! I"m glad you're taking the Crew back to WDW again in November. :)

I'll bet you sure are looking forward to retirement, aren't you?

Yes Carol and I met for lunch today, we talked about our jobs , the good ol; days and our trips this year. She syas she is not even looking at an Elvis this year, she is NOT getting "HIT" on by no Elvis :rotfl2::rotfl2: Now if that isn't almost enough to make Marv make the Trip dressed as Elvis :jumping1::jumping1::dancer::rotfl2: She is excited about the Christmas Disney Trip!! She did not know about the Story Tellers and was very impressed . Sad news for her though , her 14 year old doggie passed away earlier this year

Christmas will be fun to do at Disney for you. :) Someday, the storytellers would be fun to see!
Thanks Liesa , I am just going to keep posting on this thread for now may start anew one in October for Myrtle Beach and Disney. But for now will update on the Elvis Lake George trip we just got back from. We now use Enterprise for ur vans and Carol LOVES them much roomier and plenty of luggage space . Said they were a dream o drive . We had the quietest group ever!!:scratchin But they enjoyed themselves , the trip down was fine except that th lat pick up was 1and half hours out of the way. The women told Carol they always picked him up there !!! Turns out
he had never been before and it was a Huge coach bus that had picked someone else up there , so we sopped for supper off the 87 at a Cracker Barrl the guys all liked that! So we were late getting to the hotel and to the evening concert . Next day was great no hitches at The Moose's Tooth Grill, I had Crab Cakes , Carol had pulled pork tacos one of them ordered are you ready for it a peanut butter hamburger :faint: For supper we headed o Queensbury , without getting lost, and ate at The German restaurant in Queensbury. Delicious . The next day we listened to some Elvis gospel sining and then headed to the boat , we were all packed up ready to leave after the boat. The Brunch buffet was great Love those made to order omeletes . The guys filled the dance floor and just enjoy themsel=lves .Never ceases to amaze me how they just have fun and it is contagious !!:banana::banana:

Can,t believe this is still around !! Any who this year Carol & I are going to Cleveland for 2 nights in July or August, have to check out the dates in the book. So I know on the way up we stop at the Zoo and look around there for a while , have been there once before on a P & P trip to Cedar Point , we never left the Rainforest it was soooo cool !! then we head to the hotel settle in and go out for supper , Anyone have any tips on Cleveland restaurants as I am not seeing anything that really sounds good , either to fancy or foods they wouldn't eat and a lot seem way toooo expensive , I like finding places that at nor chains , next day we go to the Rock'n Roll Hall of fame which sounds really cool, I guess we will find lunch around there as I heard from my 2 staff who are also escorts that they have a bunch of vendors outside and places to sit . Our evening is a Dinner Cruise . Sounding great right ?? Well then we had to do something the next morning before we leave for Buffalo anddddd I spy The Christmas Sory House ,,, I can't wait tosee the Leg Lamp and the pink bunny pj's :jumping1::jumping2::jumping3: Wadda you think ?????

You should have had an Elvis sandwich: peanut butter, banana, and bacon.
We serve our guys at the Group home peanut butter and banana all the time they love it !But they also love liver !! Me too I was off this weekend but had thm make me a plate , it was delish !!

I guess I should fill you in with Myrtyl Beach trip.No issues with flight other than 1 had never flown so Carol left the "this is your first flight tutorial I give" When we landed he was so thrilled that my tutorial was soo accurate , he wasn't afraid . Do you think I should write a book :rotfl::rotfl:Any who the first day we found a cheap and great place to eat lunch , Was only $5 and was more than I could eat , so with full tummies we headed to the hotel hoping to drop off our luggage nly to be tld due o the construction going on they had no where to store it , But undaunted we all squeezed back into the van. Going to try to upload some pix and will add soon!!

Still not uploaded the pix !! Myrtle Beach was great , I think my favorite was the Carolina Opry it was amazing I loved it . Also the Alligator place was fascinating , did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did !! If I ever figure out how to upload my pix I'll share , Anyone have any hints for dining in Cleveland , I am not fiding to much that just jumps out at me .
