As part of hop-on-hop off trolley, this is a stop. We haven’t walked around this area before. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for things to “see” and/or where to grab a quick bite?? (We’ll be a party of 10, 6 kids aged 7-14).

Thanks!!

Some of the places are closed on some days. In addition to the Whaley House (which is a must see), there's a very old cemetery, an old jail house, an old classroom, an old Catholic church (lots of old things if you walk around enough) and you can find old grave markers in the street and on the sidewalk that were added after they realized they built the streets on top of burial grounds.

Here's a link to some more info: http://www.oldtownsandiegoguide.com/attractions.html

There's a tea house located in a haunted Victorian building. I do no think they are open every day. My favorite place to eat in the area is Berta's but it is not quick.
