Trying to decide which to choose for our trip 10/1-10/5. I know that RPR has Express Pass. However, how busy is it that week? Could we get away with not using Express?

We've gone the 2nd week in October and were glad to have the Express Pass for some of the rides. With that said, Universal lines are nowhere as long as Disney's. I didn't see any wait time exceeding 60 minutes. It really depends on your tolerance level.

You could always do a split stay 1 night at RPH will give you 2 days express then the other nights in either of the other resorts you mentioned. That way you could get a lot of rides in the first 2 days then have a more laid back/leisurely last 3 days. And it would be more budget friendly if that is of any importance.

You could get away with it, many do, but it`ll be busy and it is much more pleasurable not standing in long lines....

Go for RP.....we don`t do the parks without EP. It makes a massive difference to your days.....
