offer buy-one-get-one deals, right? I remember Pete talkin' about this last year. Is there a name for this promotion? I can't remember!! I'll be heading down there in Sept and may want to take advantage of it. I remember a webpage that listed the restaurants that participated but I can't remember where it is!! Help?!

Thanks for the link but I don't think that's it. The promotion I'm thinking about is only once per year and I think it's in Sept. I remember that Emeril's Tchoup Tchoup was one of the ones listed. Anyone else know what I'm thinking of? Pete?! Kevin?! BAWB?!

Sorry...that's the only one I've ever used (actually got to eat at Raglan Road when it first opened!)

I'll be anxious to hear about others as well. :thumbsup2

We did the Magical Dining menu at Tchoup Tchoup last year and we fell in love with it! We were slightly jealous of people around us getting normal sized portions. But the price was just right for us! :)

 I never heard that the portions were smaller. I assumed you would be ordering off a special menu but also assumed the portions would be normal size for each restaurant. Did it still fill you up or did you leave hungry still?

It definitely filled us up! I believe they were half portions (for example, for appt. we had Homemade Dumpling Box which either had 3 or 4 instead of the usual 6 or 8) and now I can't remember exactly what we ate. I wish I had pictures for you b/c I was taking "food porn" on our whole trip. Emeril's just felt way too high class to whip out my camera though!!! lol!!

When you go you ask for the "Magical Dining Menu" which is different then the usual. I think we got a choice of 3 things for apt, entree & dessert.

Just GChatted DBf @ work to see what he remembered. He said, Yes, smaller portions. He got a teriyaki glazed steak and I ordered the Macadamia Nut Crusted Atlantic Salmon. He said he *thinks* his steak was a 6 oz and the usual is a 12 oz. He says it was the perfect amount, we were satisfied.

The food is amazing though! I usually don't eat salmon and I loved it here. I would definitely recommend trying it~! :)
