Walk between RPR and Sapphire Falls

Looking at the map, it appears that there is a walkway connecting Sapphire Falls and the RPR/Citywalk. If so, how long of a walk is it between the 2 resorts? We are thinking of a split stay, and wondering if we could move from one to another (adults only, rolling small luggage). Any information would be appreciated.

There is an indoor and outdoor walk between the two hotels.

From lobby to lobby it takes us just under 10 minutes at a slowish pace. We walk it loads of times every trip as we like to visit both hotels regardless of which one we stay at.......

We ‘cheat’ & don’t follow the waterway. walk past convention center to end of road & cross the small access road between the resorts. There is some traffic, you need to keep an eye out, probably not the best path for kids

I've walked it plenty of times, however, you will take a little longer walk on the sidewalk, of have to drag your luggage over carpet if you use the interior hallways. For that distance, an uber is about $6, and may be worth it if you pack like I do...

Update. Unable to use the indoor walkway as it is closed. Also there is no pool hopping with COVID restrictions (found out the hard way after walking the path).
Can you go to RPR for a meal? We're staying at SF in a couple weeks & thought we'd pop over & eat at Jake's one evening.

Also, are bottled water & sodas & grab-&-go items still available at New Dutch for purchase? If not, we'll bring our own (locals driving in.)

TIA!

Typically yes you are always welcome to venture to other resorts for dining.

Hopefully someone with first hand knowledge could verify Covid 19 restrictions hasn’t changed that.

We are here now and new Dutch does have grab and go items as well as drinks.

We just got back from staying at both RPR and SF. We ate at Amatista for dinner and they didn't ask our room #, but for breakfast they did. We ate at Jakes and Islands dining room and they did not ask our room #. They never said we couldn't eat there if we weren't staying there - I assumed they were trying to collect data. All those dining rooms are pretty empty.
As for walking the inside route, you can still walk inside from SF to RPR, but not the other way around (simply because there is no interior access to the conference rooms from the hotel like there is at SF.
