Soo... My fiancé and I are getting married on a Sunday next October and are expecting 30-40 people.

For Friday night we are thinking of having dinner (Raglan Road or Splitsville maybe?), and then after that an Illuminations dessert party. We do want to have something for the later arrivals (it's a destination for all but 6) and are stuck on what to do on Saturday.

A couple of issues on this: We DO NOT want to be out and about the evening before we get married so we would need something in the morning or lunch time. And my sister has celiac so things like HDDMR and O'Hana and the like will NOT be an option for her. Also, I'm hesitant to provide just another meal for them, so it would be great if it had some element of fun.

Any ideas on that score? What have you guys done for your welcome party (or what not) for about 30-40 guests?

If you're already doing an IllumiNations dessert party on Friday night, you may not want to pay for another catered event on Saturday, but... A really great daytime option is breakfast + a safari ride mix-in at Animal Kingdom. Because it would be catered, you could have a special meal made for your sister. This episode talks about it and has photos: http://disneyweddingpodcast.com/2013/04/17/discovery-cove-wedding-spotlight-kim-matt/

They do escort you onto the ride. Only certain attractions are available for ride mix-ins, so you'd need to check with your planner if you're interested in a different one.
