Where to pack an aerosol?

I have always avoided taking aerosols on planes but this year I want to take a can of insect repellant. (Tesco has run out of pump sprays yesterday).

So where do I pack it? Suitcase or hand luggage?

Aerosols can now be packed in your suitcase.

Yes - agree with Tony. We pack our aerosols in the suitcases.
