When we made the reservation we book four people and paid in advance for four people. Just recently we realized that my Mom wasn't going to be able to come due to complications from a knee replacement.
The credit card we used was a Visa Debit Card from Bank of America and we closed that account two months ago. What's going to happen? Should we just chuck our losses since the money can't be refunded to the original card and will check-in still allow us to check-in even though the reservation says four and there are only three of us??????
Yes, it's on wdwinfo.com. Look on their home page for the link.Mickey Fanatic said:I was hoping that someone could help me? There used to be a calculator available to help you figure out when to call for Priority Seating ressies. I was wondering if there is something around like that to figure out what the 180 day mark is. I have a general idea but I don't want to miss out on ressies because I messed up the calculations.
Oh yeah we are going May 20, 2007.
Thanks in advance.

I got our reservations for CRT today!!!!! It will be my youngest DD's birthday and she always talks about eating at the castle. Hopefully this will be a nice surprise for her. I did not know this until today - if you are on the DDP your credit card is only used to hold the reservation. It is not charged unless you don't show up for your reservation and do not cancel 24 hours in advance. If it has been posted before I somehow missed that fact. So it was a nice surprise for me since we are on the DDP. I was fully surprised b/c I expected my credit card to get charged.
Best Strategy: Get up early and start calling a few minutes before phone lines open up.
No real strategy needed.
Wow! I am reading this in amazement. I had no idea that it was so hard to get these reservations! Last time I was in WDW we walked in and waited about 15 min. to be seated for lunch. That was in June 2000, and from what I understand the meal is different now. We ordered from a menu, and I don't think any of the characters were actually there. My daughters really liked the atmosphere of the castle, but the food was mediocre and overpriced. I wasn't even planning to do it on this trip( July), but I have a 3 year old DD who LOVES Cinderella so I called yesterday afternoon (about 178 days out I think, and was offered B,L or D) I must just pick lucky dates or something. I chose dinner at 6:15 on 7/15 our last night there. Wow, I must have luck on my side. Why does everyone seem to want breakfast the most? It seems pretty pricy to me for preplated eggs etc.. for a few dollars more the L and D seems like a better deal (although there is no question you are paying for ambience not food!)
I wish everyone luck in getting their reservations!
Today is 180 days out for me. I tried this a.m. to get CRT ressies but was unsuccessful. I tried for 8/6 and 8/10. Should I try again at 180 days out for 8/10 or would that be a waste of a phone call? Any advice would be great.
