We watch Super Nanny with Angelina, after each episode she will say, "That's why I'm not having any kids!!!" It's funny, when she was about six years old, she told us she was having 50 kids, we told her WE (mom and dad) were running away from home!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

 Before we moved we had a great babysitter! Rachel was 16 (now 17) and has a boyfriend who is 22  No worries there...because she has taken him with her on a few of her babysitting gigs and she says THE BEST form of birth control is two little tots, both under 3 running around after their snack!!! :rotfl: :lmao:

your garage door opener must be related to my ceiling fan:rotfl:

And they're both related to the lovely jewelry cabinet that DH gave me 3 years ago, but has yet to hang on the wall where it belongs!!

First.....YOUR new pic is wonderful!! I hadn't seen it until just now!! :thumbsup2

Our last baby, my DS (only boy!) who is now 13, was born almost two months early, because I had a very rare disease. We had to take him a.s.a.p. Anyway......he still managed to weigh 8 lbs 5 oz at birth and was 21" long! Small wonder he's now 5'9" and only 13!
But he was also in the NICU for a week, very sick little boy. It was just so darned embarrassing to go in there to visit him....this huge "butterball turkey" boy in the incubator.....alongside all these teeny-tiny little babes! I wanted so badly to post a sign that said "But he really IS sick!".

Now, when the teens are at eachother's throats, I often have to stop and remind myself how badly we wanted them....and how blessed we were!

Thanks for the compliment! I was gone for a day & discovered that involuntary swimming would be involved if I didn't a** a pic! So I though: Oh, shirt! I better add a pic. pirate:

Our DS was also the NICU bully - full-term 21 inches 7lbs. 9 oz.
The nurses would fight over him because he could be picked up and cuddled.

Jay & I renewed our vows on the beach in Key West, at the start of the 10 Night Christmas cruise (the 1st one). I honestly don't think I'd ever convince him to do that again. He's still trying to figure out how I suckered him TWICE. :rotfl:

Enna, why are you so quiet today......everything okay?

I escaped my icebound captivity for a few hours. Got to go to the Walmart Super-Center (whoo-hoo!). Had a vanload of groceries to put away, and wanted to make a real dinner that didn't involve a BOX of anything for the first time in almost a week. Wow. Real, fresh FOOD! Yippee! (Sorry, I digress.)

Thanks for asking about me! I'm fine. Feeling a little introspective after reading all of the great stories here. Wishing WalMart wasn't sold out of tissues, though.

How's the dog doing today? Did the immodium work?

Gotta Luv Wally World. They are finally building a Super Wally here, way up north. Still no Sonics though

Can't stand it any longer. The weather is just scrumptious and I have to get out and ride!:moped: Maybe I'll go up to Target and see what I can find.

See ya'll later!

Deb

Ok, Deb I just have to ask. What exactly are you riding? I got confused with the previous answers. I'm curious because I have a motorcycle and you don't run into too many other female bikers.

I'm lovin' the accidental typo and the on purpose typo......

Well I think what you will see that I am referring too you will like alot ....Okay , I will say this but it will be in white , so those who want to see the somewhat spoiler will have to highlight to make it readable ...

Lets just say that Jack is stuck in purgatury(Davey Jones Locker) and being there brings out all your different personality traits , which for Jack could be all kinds of different Jacks, now can you see all the conversations going on between mulitple Jacks? and thats as far as I am going to go , I will give out no more details to this part ..LOL

pirate:

Very clever....the color choice, that is...

Well Ya'll are either Cursed or Lucky.........I'll Let You Decide.

I've posted more on this thread in 2 weeks...........than I had in the previous 5 years......... :goodvibes

We're gonna do stealth VOW RENEWALS on the voyage? I love it!!!

If we don't wanna drop a few "thou" for a ships official vows and their "romance goodies" - I will volunteer to get one of the ordainations by email certificates and I shall graciously volunteer to officiate ... as I am already a "Captain" of sorts. Maybe NOT the incomparable CJS... but a captain just the same... Just you'll have to get past the "Crash" part of your internet certified ministers' screen name... <chuckles>

Yeah... you could tell your friends... you had your vows renewed by a guy named "Crash"... that may not bode well for the rest of your life voyage together.... <TRAGIC chuckles>

Tragic%20Bulletin%20size.jpg

That would be GREAT!

I'm lovin' the accidental typo and the on purpose typo......

alright Stacey if you would read what you missed.......

Todd welcomed our new posters and he told them to a** the banner or walk the plank........so now its one of those long running jokes.....

Sidenote----I don't think they have been back since.....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Huh.......that's easy.......cur........oh be nice Judy........ok....blessed.

Aw Crash is missing his spouse......how sweet.

You don't miss anything ... do ya? This probably counts as the most number of days we've been apart since the kids came along... which puts it at about 6 years.

And yeah..... I guess I do miss her. The kids too... even though last night from the bath tub my older daughter declared that the little one was now a daddy's girl and SHE herself was now converted from a Daddy's girl to a Mommy's girl. I had my spouse on the speaker phone when she said that listening in...

<chuckles>

Yes she lost all of her baby teeth by the time she was 9yo. I think that they waited for her 12yo molars to come in since those are the last teeth to come in for awhile, but not always. My youngest lost her front teeth (top and bottom) when she turned 4.
She lost ALL her baby teeth by the time she was 9? My son is 9 and hasn't lost all his yet-and he's the only one of my kids that had teeth early! I'm so confused... LOL

Back from the Ortho Specialist with DD's hip.........Looks like more MRI's.........this time with dye to read bone and cartilage definition........:sad2:

Poor thing just wants to be better...........more tests............more waiting :confused3

Mark
oh man, i'm so sorry. I hope things get better soon!

We did Palo 2 times on the 7 day in Dec. I love the food and the service up there....We did brunch once too...

I know DH can't wait to go....

OH LISA....SIGN DH AND I UP for a group dinner this time.... If we're having one....
?
Me too!
:)

Well...

... my older daughter has awakened with a mild fever. Both kids had a slight cough from saturday which I thought was going away on the younger one yesterday ... but just now they both showed coughing so I've dosed the younger one with the Triaminic and she's asleep again... for the older one she just got acetamicin chewable for the fever, and in a moment I'll give her triaminic as well.

Tomorrow morning I'll bring them both in to see their pediatrician... the fever is only 100.7 ... but I think she'll give us something to fight the infections.
Oh,I hope your babies are feeling better soon!

I was going to reply to something, but by the time the page loaded up, I forgot what it was I was going to reply too. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh yea, now I remember..........Thanks Diane, we feel very blessed to have Angelina in our lives as well!!! She came from a very poor area of Mexico, so we know we have enhanced her life over what it would have been like there.
Oh your story was so touching, sad and with a wonderful ending. You are lucky to have her, but she is really lucky to have such great parents. I may not know you all THAT well online and all- but already I know you guys are wonderful parents. :)

It's possible BIB....

My DD lost her last baby tooth about 3 years ago.... We had her teeth checked by an ortho then. (Since she had a big space when she had her baby teeth) Ortho said she was fine. So no braces here....
She lost her last baby tooth 3yrs ago? When she was 10?
I'm so confused. Are they supposed to lose all their molars as baby teeth or do those just come out permanent teeth or WHAT? I was thinking they had to replace those with permanent teeth too and if so, my daughter is WAY behind. She only lost her front teeth top and bottom, and last week one of the nearby molars. That's it. She got her 12yr molars in, but does she have to lose/replace those later too, or not? *confused*

Okay since so many people have said they can't see it and I can't seem to fix it......Here it is.
