Well, good, Shelley! At least you saw the doctor, you're not dying, and you're on your way to doing something about it. I haven't ever had that happen, so I can't begin to understand how it feels, so I won't even try to go there. But....a lot of us have had one thing or another that felt like it was never going to get better, so I can promise you that it will! We're here whenever you want to complain or carry on about it. You're entitled to.
Thanks Stacey... I appreciate the understanding. I hate to complain but... this does stink let me tell you.
cue mantra *this too shall pass, this too shall pass, atleast I HOPE this too shall pass*

My dog Gracie is cracking me up right now. I gave her a raw hide double knot bone yesterday. She doesn't actually eat it. She just goes around hiding it. She will walk around the house for ever crying because she can't fine a place to put it. Then she will hide it behind the curtains or under pillows on the couch. She will even put everything back the way it was before she hid the bone so you would never know that the bone was there. But the best is when she hides it in plain site like next to a chair and then guards it. If you even glance at it, she then has to move it and it starts all over again. She will do this for days before we either have to take the bone away or she forgets where she hid it. It is really quite entertaining and it keeps her from playing the in and out game for a while.
Too funny!
My Tramp does that even with doggy biscuit type bones- you know like Milkbones? He cracks me up when he tries to hide in the corner of one of our recliners and then uses his nose to "cover" it- apparently he's hiding it with air that he's nudging over it... cause the recliner is not dirt therefore rubbing it with his forehead to cover the milkbone is only covering it with air. He's a nut.
:hourglass

Unless you stick you finger into the bottom of each piece and put the yucky orange ones back in the box.
Hmm, I happen to like the orange ones! Now the ones with nuts.. no thanks!

Stupid show...........AI................Sheez............. and Sheez Again !!!! :scared1:

Mark
My sentiments exactly!

Shelley, I have nothing to say that will make this go away but I will keep you in my prayers.

Thanks Lisa... I sure needed the hugs! And thanks to everyone for the posts... I appreciate it.

I guess that's all from me today. Not very talkative huh. :( Sorry... I'll be back to my old self soon hopefully. ;)

Lisa!!:rotfl: Excellent use of :cake: in your sig!!:rotfl:

I had a hard time deciding on mine, but since we are trying to up the vote count I wanted to use a political slogan.

Here were some other options:

No :cake: left behind.

A kinder, gentler :cake:.

Nothing to eat but :cake: itself...

Ask not what your :cake: can do for you...

It's the :cake:, stupid.

A :cake: in every pot...

Hey BIP! Good to 'see' ya!
I've been thinking about you today.
I hope all is well.

OK, talking to myself!!

Hello, self! We're off tomorrow. DS8 has the state hockey tournament. Life is good. Sk8ingfam hockey game count for this weekend: 8. Although self, I think we might be able to make it here for chat since chat time is between DS and DH's games. OOhhh, after DH's game...beer and pizza.

Happy Friday everyone!!!

(offer not yet valid on the west coast)

:sad2: Talking to one's self on occasion is one thing...carrying on a conversation? Someone should call Bellvue...

suckingrug-sm.jpg

This is an older picture. The dog on the right isn't with us any more. We lost her very strangely when she was 10 months old. The dog on the left is 12 1/2 years old and sucks rug to this day.

No, they're not chewing. They're nursing the rug.

I love this type of dog - and I for one think they are beautiful. One time I tried to describe them to the family and all I heard from them was - "What the heck is a Wigman?"

I especially love their eyes. What is the color range on this type of dog?

Are they family friendly too? :)

I don't use a high setting...just enough for 10x13s if we want them. We can usually fit 800 on a 1GB card. We end up with 1000s of pictures to go thru...not all of them are printable but you never know when you will catch that perfect shot. :goodvibes

Yeah...

... I can machine gun my shots a bit when I shoot certain things - like my girls at any of thier activities - like Karate, Gymnastics and Soccor. And on any vacation - I take 2 of everything - then sometimes a 3rd just for good measure.

I shoot at the maximum image size and at the lowest compression my DSLR will capture. I would encourage you to do the same - especially if you crop or manipulate your images - or want to manipulate them in the future.

Oh... don't let the shock of pposting inactivity get ya'. I was pretty surprised how poky it's been too.

Goodnight gang...I'm going to bed early for once!

Yea, that happened to me last night as well Stacey. I never did get that Power Nap in I wanted too, but I did get some Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby ice cream instead!!!!! :thumbsup2

Would you guys fly out of JFK or any of the area airports?

Last time I flew ugh....We flew Southwest out of Philly. Was probably only 1/2 longer drive than Newark, but the parking was absolutely awful.

:3dglasses

I parked once at Philly Airport, and I'll NEVER :sad2: do it again!!! Luckily, we only live about 15 minutes from the airport, so if we can't find someone to drop us off, we call Rapid Rover airport service.

OMG!!!! Did you watch any of the other videos from her calls. I am listening to her views on love now. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I was going to go back and watch them but got busy doing something else, I did save the first clip, so I'm going to watch the other once I'm caught up here. ;)

With everyone talking about their poochies, and showing pics, I'd like to share what I have as the wallpaper on my laptop. This pic is of our beloved Midnight who is no longer with us, but he was one sweet and loveable doggie. We called him our buddy buddy. In this pic, he laid on the floor with this cup on his head for about 30 minutes without moving. I miss my buddy buddy. :sad1:

Ahhhh Andy I remember when you lost Midnight last year :grouphug: What an awesome doggie! What kind of dog? :grouphug: Everytime we lose a pet, I swear I won't get another one.....It's so incredibly painful to lose them.

Andy - he was beautiful - was he asleep and just being careful? What a hoot! And so appropriately named :thumbsup2

The things us human owners do to our best friends huh? How long did you have him? I did not have a dog for the first 18 year of our marriage but when DS got really sick he wanted a dog and since us parents are suckers for our children, I got him what he always wanted - a black and white male Siberian Husky who he wanted to call "Bob."

And what did mom get? :headache: A black and white FEMALE Siberian Husky who you probably saw earlier in the boards who was initially called Bobby but she later picked Isis as her name. That should of been our first clue! Isis Queen of the House or AKA - Human Baby, DIVA, and the best one of all - Devil Dog. All names that fit appropriately as you can tell. I love Midnight - have you gotten any other dogs?

TTYL!
