Very Sweet. My DD wants a poodle (or a Yorkshire Terrier), but DD want s a bulldog, and noether seems to be willing to compromise. So, It looks like no dog for us anytime soon.

Have you heard of these mixed breed dogs like the labradoodle (half poodle, half lab)....yorkipoo (half poodle, half yorkie)....puggle (half pug, half beagle)?

You could get a bullpoo...Well, on second thought, that sounds a lot like a Bradgelina- just a pile of shirt!

Sounds like one of the accounting Profs I had in college.

He would make his test so hard, just to break you and make you feel like you didn't know anything. Then set the curve so a 40% was passing. Can you say Power Trip?

That was one of my comp-sci professors (Prof. Greenlee). He had a reputation as purposely designing difficult projects and tests.

In our final exam, he walks in and says "It is no coincidence that the amount of paper required to copy this exam is called a REAM".

With everyone talking about their poochies, and showing pics, I'd like to share what I have as the wallpaper on my laptop. This pic is of our beloved Midnight who is no longer with us, but he was one sweet and loveable doggie. We called him our buddy buddy. In this pic, he laid on the floor with this cup on his head for about 30 minutes without moving. I miss my buddy buddy. :sad1:

Well, when you say "bullpoo", lots of images come to mind...cute lovable family dog is not one of them :goodvibes

Good morning all! About to run the kids to school. I am going to have to stay away today to get ready for our trip. I have 3 bathrooms to clean, 3 beds to change, and a ton of laundry to do before we can leave tomorrow.

Trip???? What'd I miss? Or rather, what'd I forget?

Between my spouse and I she's the smart one...

... she always got better grades in college then I (in the same classes) plus she served on her high schools' "Math-a-lete" team. She always threw the math and science class curves... when the tests were extremely hard and everyone was scoring in the teens or maybe just into the 20s she would score a very high 90 (like a 98 or 99). Chemistry, Biology, Math... she aced them all (almost). Me... I couldn't cheat my way into an "A" but generally squeaked by on my "B"s and possibly an occasional "C". SO... I guess that makes me the dumb one in the family... <chuckles> ... but I still made more $ then she did. Well... not anymore.

Monica, that's exactly how we'll do it . . . I'm going to be on the Magic in just over 2 weeks (3/24) and I will look around with an eye for some places that might work.

Andrew UK-- when you read this, are you up to leaving me some hidden surprises on the Magic this summer when you hand the ship over to me on Aug. 8?

:thumbsup2

Enjoyed that one too. And just to make this conversation on-topic (I know, a first for this thread), the first time I saw MBFGW was on board the Disney Magic. Janie and I had been dying to see it but we had a baby daughter, so never did. We snuck off one night for a late showing with Rebecca in Flounders.

Aww, it really is a great date movie

Oh, I'll give you one even better . . . I had an electrical engineering professor for a 2nd year networking class. The man was older than God and he WROTE the textbook. However, his lectures were taken exactly from the textbook with little explanation of the math it took to get from step to another. On his first test, the class average was an ELEVEN (11)!!! I think it was only that high b/c we had 2 students that scored in the 90's . . they later became his grad student assistants .. .LOL I was thankful to pass!!:cool1::cool1:

This is the story I tell my boys when the struggle with their Algebra . . . and try to do everything in the head rather than doing it on paper . . .

Glad I'm not in college any more!

My wife is smarter than me as well, although not in math -- I was her Calculus tutor. But most other subjects, she is smarter than me.

I think most husbands would say this, even if it isn't true, but in my case it is.

I come from a very loud Mexican family (I'm 1/2 Mexican from my dad's side) and on Holidays everyone is yelling across the room, dancing, etc....a lot like her family in the movie. My dh's family is very calm & quiet.

I could not breath during the scene in the movie when it flashed from her loud family to sitting quietly with his parents. I'm sure no one in the theatre could understand why my dh and I were laughing so hard at that.....It was just such a perfect representation of our lives.....In fact, that's exactly what most of our home videos look like.... from one extreme, to the other....

I can relate....

It's funny how some of these movies can mirror your own family's life so accurately. Did you ever see, "Home For The Holidays" with Holly Hunter? :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

HI All --

Just trying to catch up a bit .. .sorry I've been out of pocket for so long . . . too much work . . . got three new website clients in the past two weeks. It's a good problem to have.

I am working on our website. The site is done. Just adding the list from the old site. I know a bunch of folks were working on the links for each of our ports of call. If you're one of those, would you please PM me? If I can get your data, we can add that this weekend as well.

Maybe by Monday we can have an official rolling out party (you know champagne bottles hitting the ship . . .er . . .website . . .something like that . . .)

Still dreaming about the cruise. . .can't wait . . .
