Congratulations! What a magnificent memory! I would love to win something while there! But since, it is just me and my DBF I think they will be leaning more towards families. That is just so wonderful for you and your family! Definitly post up some pics for us to see! I can't wait to see! Thanks for sharing! Wow..that's so awesome..!

As they say..timing is everything! We started that morning at epcot and didn't get to the magic kingdom till about 1 pm! I wish I could have watched you win! We missed Wishes that night because our daughter really wanted to go into the laugh floor one more time!

They were in the castle in a room that I assume was right next to the suite, since they came out of a door next to ours. Whenever we needed anything or wanted to go out, we called them and they met us at our doorway in like no time flat.

Not so! It is completely random, in that they select winners like this:

You can be anywhere on Disney property at any time (although I'm sure Cinderella's castle has to be awarded earlier in the day because of getting packed and being in parade). The dreamsquad is dispatched and told to go with their award to ... say... the Dumbo ride at 10:00 am and choose whomever is in the blue elephant. It can be a single person , a couple , a family , whatever... So your chances w/ BF are as good as mine w/ family of 5. I read of someone who was on Mt. Everest in a certain seat number, and he was riding alone (even though he did have his family with him elsewhere) who was also awarded the Cinderella's castle suite.

Hubby and I are holding out hope for that DVC membership when we're there in Sept!

You were treated like royality! I keep dreaming I will win a night in the castle. Now I tell you we are the mosy unlucky people you would ever meet.
We win nothing. We have the worst luck, and my chances are slim. So I am setting myself up for a big disappointment.

My BIL and DS pick out a movie to play in the sitting room. The guys all loved how the TVs looked like mirrors when they weren't in use.

Me, DD Lucy, DD Hallie, DS Leo and DH Cory the next morning before breakfast. I look like crap because I was up all night with barfing Lucy.

The castle was incredible though and we loved every minute of our time there!

Poor you... on your dream night at the castle to have a sick little one. And I love the pics of the kids sleeping. It's amazing that children can sleep even when things are soooo exciting. Me -- I'd be "too excited to sleep!"

Congrats on winning, your pics are awesome. We were there the same time as you and everyone in our family wound up with a stomach virus as well. Must be something going around the world. Such a bummer being sick on vacation.

I totally hope you win a night at the castle! I said the same thing to myself about being unlucky before we went to WDW and thought it on our first day when I didn't see any signs of the Dream Team anywhere. We have had a horrible year (DH's Mom died on New Years Day, NOT the way to start a year!) and now DH says that maybe the trip to Disney will be the start of good luck for us from now on, since we won such an incredible experience while we were there.
