Anyone else waiting for jetBlue to release April 2008?

So glad our party of 8 booked all our direct flights SYR-MCO yesterday! Return flight is now up by $50! Very Doubtful that prices will drop! Kudos to Jet Blue for making the bookings very easy! 4 booked on-line and 4 over the phone. What a pleasure dealing with polite, knowlegible agents! It sure takes the stress off of planning holidays with large groups! :thumbsup2

I just booked our April school vacation 4/19/08 - 4/26/08 WDW flight :cool1:
We're flying from Boston to Tampa non-stop for $242 per person round trip. :dance3:
We reserved our seats for an additional $10 per person.
For those who care there was only one flight available at this rate so get to it before it disappears. :hourglass
Good luck all,
Joe

I'm getting $299 each way SYR/MCO week of 4/12. Do they know that is the school vacation week around here or something? :( I looked into SYR/PBI for my parents from the end of Feb to the end of March, and I was getting $99 each way.

It's not fair. Wahhhh. Hopefully over the next week prices will come down. If not, we just ain't goin' anywhere on an airplane. :sad2:

Roundtrip for us out of LGA or JFK to MCO is $750. They just lost a customer to AirTran.:snooty:

I posted this in a new thread(I had forgotten about this one)...

For those in Western New York, I booked a flight for $260(including all taxes) pp roundtrip from Buffalo to MCO(traveling Saturday 4/12 to Sunday 4/20).

I might have been able to do better with Southwest or waiting until next year, but I didn't want to chance it.

Get out!! Lucky! 4/12 to 4/19 out of Syracuse would be $299 each way plus tax. So about $650.

I think anyone getting flights for under $350 during school breaks is doing well.

I ended up booking my flights for Apr 16-24 (Wed-Thurs). My kids' vacation starts on Mon, the 21st, so they'll have to miss a couple of days of school. I got $308 RT per person, which was a little less than I was prepared to pay, so I'm happy :).

Those dates have the best fares out of PWM. However so few to pick from so you really need to be flexible on what time you fly.

I paid the same as you thru Delta for 4/17-4/25 so I think I did ok.

My DS is a senior this year and one of his days is full with classes. His other day he has early dismissal Sem 1 (only 2 classes) and late arrival Sem 2. He has no school on the 18th so he will only miss a half a day on the 17th and I am hoping it is his early arrival day and he will only miss maybe one class.

I got my flights this morning. I am flying SWF-MCO on Airtran for 250rt PP NS(inc selected seats cost)< I was waiting for Jetblue, but the good prices were gone when I got home from work:eek: . I still don't think I will get a better price than that at ALB on SWA so I am thrilled.

I paid $109.40 for RT on JB in March of 08 flying from MCO to SYR like I said on a Mon,Tues,Wed,Thurs. Those are non-stop direct flights too. ºOº

Well I got my March trip to see the parents, Bos-Ft. Myers for $268 RT. I'm happy with that. I couldn't touch April school vacation so I'll wait to see what SW offers, otherwise I'll stay home. :sad1:

I was so annoyed with Jet Blues airfare from JFK & LGA to MCO in April that I e-mailed them to let them know. I know it won't do anything but it made me feel better. We are going in Nov. and have a RT for $178 per person and now for April they want RT $798 per person. For 4 people that is $3200. That is crazy:eek:

I wonder why jet blue fares does not come up on Kayak or Expedia for April. Any guesses?:confused3

This is the reply I received from Kayak when I asked that very question! I really don't understand the answer, as last year the Jet Blue prices were posted on Kayak prior to their release on the JB website! The question I asked was why JetBlue did not show up at all after they had released March and April two days prior. I ended up cancelling my daily emails as they were not current.

Hi,
We don't update our site with pricing information - every time you execute a search, we go to the airlines in real-time to find their best prices. You should find the updated Jet Blue prices at Kayak.com with the rest of the search results. :confused3

Happy Kayaking,

Dan Q

I feel for all of you... can't say that I am not thrilled that I didn't wait for Jetblue and that I jumped ship and booked with Airtran... we fly out April 11 and return April 20 for $225 each... that includes taxes and seat booking!!!!! It is worth the hour drive to Rochester!!!

I just checked and the same flight I booked Friday am for $258 per person is now posted at $458 per person! A jump of two hundred dollars in less that two days! Just plain crazy! I am counting my lucky stars all 8 of us booked the first day the fares came out! I guess they figure they can get that price because the flight is almost full! :scared1:

I just booked my nonstop (from Vermont - a miracle) for $258 per person RT. :cool1: :cool1: Same price as I am paying in November which includes a stop in JFK.

I am so glad I was busy on Friday and Saturday and didn't have a chance to check the jet blue site. It appears the initial prices were much higher! I probably would have freaked out.

Jet Blue definitely knows when the area schools' spring breaks are...I looked up Burlington to MCO flights for April 19-17 (our local spring break) and prices are $329 to $429 one way!

Bichon Barb - check Burlington VT flights for April 12-19. It may be worth the drive?

I think I may have convinced DH to drive. I told him we could do a stop over in Charlotte and see Lowe's Motor Speedway and he hasn't said NO yet. We'll see.
