Paige sorry this will be so rushed, no time to spell check. plase say hi to the other dissers on our thread. I am in library with only 15 mins to type. Plrease pm me your address as E wasnts to send Derek a card. We got back to UK. Sad news, Waynes friend who dies in a drowning incident in protugal, saving his 2 kids ( there were saved, thank god) his wife died TOO! along with his neighbour and a german tourist who allstruggled inwiast height sea water, when the curretnts took hold of their 2 kids. SO TRAGIC! then Waynes motorbike his pride and joy was stolen on sat 27th oct out of his sister garage ( it was all locked the even the bike hasd the batery discoouncted.... B*stards would have had to CARRY it off ! police have dusted for finger prints, but I dont hold out much hope of finding it. the to cap if off, the insurance FORGOT to tell the council I had been moved from my home ( i told the coundcil, but that wasnt good enough it had to be the insurnace people ) so I had a court sumons !!!!! I was so upset I cried and cried! Ive ben on the phone all day to oday to try and sort it out ! Its sorted now ! after the stress made me eat 2 bars of chocolate!

We got up at 4:45 AM on Saturday to watch the Magic come in to port.

For those of you who missed the first night

We had to work fast... so I smeared lipstick on Mike, dressed him up and shoved him out there.

I don't think they are doing double dips this year, but in the years they do it, they have gone the last FULL week of the month. 10/24/09 will come back on 10/31/09, so if they do double dips in 2009, that week should be one.

Yes it would be the Magic.

The Wonder is doing 4 night Double Dips next summer. I'm sure those will be very popular and we'll see more of them in the future. They go CC-Nassau-CC.

The Magic will go CC-sea-Costa Maya, Mexico-Cozumel-sea-CC.

Thanks Jeff. That sounds like a very nice itinerary. Any thoughts why September is so much less than October? Also, see that storm out there? Oh my.... wonder how they are doing out to sea...

One night at the Lab I was picking up Teddy and they had digital postcards there that the kids had made. One of them said, "I like Pie!!!!!!" I burst out laughing--I told DH, "I know who made that one!"

Yep that was him!!!! And he tried everything that was referred to as pie on the cruise... including the quiche which he called "qweeshey" as it is spelled. hahahahahaha

Hello to my fellow KKers!

It was so wonderful to meet all of you! Like Robin said, we've been chatting together for so long, it's hard not to keep it going!

We had a great time. The first few days before the cruise were sooooo hot, we couldn't believe it was late October. Felt more like late July!

Our suite was gorgeous! The pictures haven't been downloaded yet, but I'll try to post them sometime. Our concierge hosts were just terrific, unbelievable how many goodies were sent to our cabin. There's no possible way we could have ever eaten all the food we got, even with 6 of us in the cabin! I never posted here before that we were going to be in the Walt suite, as I never wanted to seem snobby or anything. We got the call in August asking if we wanted to upgrade from the cat 2 to the cat 1. Who would say no to that? The upgrade from 3 to 2 was four times more expensive than the upgrade from the 2 to the 1. Amazing!

We stayed at the Poly for 1 night after the cruise. We were in Epcot all day on Saturday. It rained, but at least the sun was hidden. I really didn't want another hot day in the parks. We tried Tutto Italia that evening. While the service was good, the food was disappointing. For those prices, we were expecting something much more impressive. Sigh, I miss the fettucine at Alfredos.

We got home on Sunday evening, and ordered pizza as we had nothing in the fridge! Monday was doctor visit day for John and Katie. Both were pretty miserable the end of the trip with colds. Actually, turns out Katie has an ear infection, and John has a sinus infection. Glad we took Monday off!

Well, I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I was supposed to be in bed an hour ago, but told DH I was just popping by here for a quick visit. I guess his "quick visit...not very likely" quote is holding true!

I do hope we can all keep in touch!

I don't think it is snobby, I think it is wonderful that you got to upgrade. Had you stayed in category 2 prior to that? I have heard that some people like the layout of 2 better than 1.

Well, Halloween is done for me, It is full steam ahead for Christmas. I'm going to try to squeeze some time in to post some photos as soon as I can. (There's still a bunch on my camera that I haven't gotten onto the computer yet!)
