2:00pm Well like I said, before I knew it it was time to walk down the aisle. We met Jennifer in the lobby my dad and bridesmaids were waiting there too. Jennifer said it would be a few min before they were ready for me so I flopped down in a chair next to my dad. Misty thought this was hilarious that I was totally chilling in a chair before the ceremony so she took pics. But honestly, while I sat there an absolute calm came over me, I felt so relaxed and happy. Jennifer said they were ready for us and we headed down the stairs to the BW.
Chilling with my dad and mom
2:15pm: As I went out a few people yelled congrats and I waved at them, it was so fun. When we got to SBP I saw that my brothers were keeping Ben turned away so he couldn't see me. I joked and ducked behind the bridesmaids to hide, I was totally amazed how relaxed (which is not typical for me!). The BMs made a wall around me and we waited for the ceremony to start.
SBP looked wonderful. The florists did a great job...here is some ceremony flowers..
Cannon in D started and Jennifer told me it was time. We used a CD player, speaker and AV tech provided by disney for music. It worked great, the sound was nice and full and we got to pick the exact versions of the songs we wanted. We just downloaded the songs we wanted and gave the CD to Jennifer. We started walking down and I truly couldn't be happier. It is kinda cool at SBP cause you can't really see the groom until you get closer, I couldn't wait to see Ben's face. (The pic of us walking down the aisle is just a pic from a friends camera...not a Misty one. I think all but one of the rest are Misty pics)
Here is Ben when he saw me...
Me with my dad...
I don't remember all Rev. Miller's words but I know they were perfect, everything he said was beautiful and meaningful. We also had some fun too...anytime something went "wrong" (like asking the wrong person for the rings or my brother messing up his part) Rev. Miller just laughed it off and it totally lightened the mood.
Finally Rev. Miller declared us husband and wife and then gave us a few charges to consider in our marriage. They were all very sweet and true. We kissed and we were married, it was a truly magical ceremony. When Rev. Miller announced us we turned to walk but our music didn't start right away. Now, I had spent alot of time deciding on the recessional music so I held Ben's hand back to make him wait for it to start. Then it did and I felt like I was floating. It was one of my favorite songs, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. You know the one that starts out with Ooooooo, oooo, ooo, ooo? Haha, well if you know it you know is a beautiful song and everyone went "Awwww". We were finally married!
Our wedding kiss
We then did a staged exit with biorice. I swear, all the rice went down my dress! For the rest of the day I was picking biorice out of everywhere!
We did the standard pictures as well, family and bridal party. I was really happy with how the look of the Groomswomen blended into the wedding. I thought it looked completely natural. I guess I forgot to upload a professional one...this is just from a friend...
3:30pm: After we were done everyone went to the reception Misty did some pictures with just us. It was nice to have a few moments alone, though I have to say Misty had us hopping!
This pic cracks me up…looks like we are trying to be vogue, but it was just in between shots
I did feel like Jennifer's assistant was rushing me a little bit through our post-wedding pics. I thought we would have until 4:30 to do pictures with just us and I wanted some good ones on the BW since they hadn't let me out there earlier. Plus, I wanted to soak it all in. As we walked people were yelling congrats and cheering for us, it was fun. Well, the assitant told Misty that we had to get up to the Attic so we went.
We got to the reception and I discovered it was only 4:00. I was a little annoyed cause I felt like Ben and I didn't get many pictures of the two of us. But Misty said that she would sneak us out later to get some. Oh how I love Misty...haha,.
Next Up: Our reception and very special guest arrives (Donald Duck!)
