Christina and Mark's PJ - Can I do it all again please?! A few photos....

Wow only 4 more sleeps, that is exciting! :woohoo:

I'm sure you must have mentioned this before, but I can't find it - what company did you get your dress box from?
I'm gonna have to see if I can get my dress onboard this way too I think.

Anything to do with weddings always seems to be expensive.

... But its sooooooo pretty! ;)

I've managed to do absolutely NO more packing! I have been productive though and paid for our floral arrangements and table linens so thats one more thing out of the way! Not sure what task to tackle next... Think I might just have ONE more coffee whilst I decide!! :surfweb:

I hope its all you want it to be and cant wait to see pics, i have 5 months yet and I'm so excited now so cant imagine what you must be like

You don't want to imagine... I don't know whether i've eaten something a bit dodgy or i'm nervous, but I feel really sick at the moment! Probably because I just got the price list through for options aboard the Grand 1! I'm not tight when it comes to money by any stretch of the imagination, but is $48 for 12 strawberries dipped in a bit of chocolate taking the pee?!?! (And its $60 if you want the chocolate to look like a tux!!!!)

Anyhow, here are the options I was sent for aboard the Grand 1, just incase anyone is interested!

:scared1: OMG @ those strawberry prices!! Thanks for posting the price list - I guess I'll have to bite the bullet for those strawberries on the Wishes cruise. :headache:

i'm payiing $8 a person for bride and groom starwberries and its two per person! not alot for your money.

:scared1: Those prices! Holy moly! We were seriously considering the Grand 1, until they told us the special holiday price just for the boat!

I know I looked up the prices somewhere and couldn't believe it so I'm not going to bother with food I don't think.

Holiday price??? Is that just for New Years Eve?

Thanks for posting those prices! I was just looking for that information. Who did you talk to? I have the grand 1 booked, but when I called the number they gave m e for catering I didn't get anywhere.

By the way, did they tell you how it works if you order say 10 waters and only drink 2?

Hiya

You need to speak with Linda Sgallata and her phone number is (407) 824-2578 and I have no idea what happens with the amount of drinks ordered but it would be useful to know! I'm actually thinking i'm not going to bother ordering anything at all... For the sake of an hour it hardly seeems worth it!

Thanks - I'll give Linda a call. We're only doing an hour too, we're definitely not doing any food, and we're debating on doing a small amount of drinks.

It's funny, I do a lot of events for work at private venues that charge a LOT for cheap food, so these prices just seem normal to me. Either that or it's because we've been to Disney 4 times in the last 18 months... :rotfl:
I forwarded that list on to my parents and they couldn't believe it. Even the strawberries seemed normal to me - I get one from Godiva every now and then in the mall, and they charge $4 each - but theirs are huge, I image these are not that big...

You have to keep in mind - that all the food in Disney is magically fat-free, so that's why the prices are so high. ..or at least, that's what I tell myself when I pig out there. It's the magic I tell you! :rotfl:

What items are you going to go with Christina, do you know?

I suppose if you prepare for it in your budget you can afford little luxuries like these, but they do seem expensive! :lmao:
I'm trying to get an idea of proces for everything I can as early as possible so we know if we can splash out on anything at all.
You just know those girls on the Bridezilla type shows that spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on their weddings would just HAVE to have a dozen strawberries per guest:rotfl:(and there are always at least 600 guests....)

What items are you going to go with Christina, do you know?

One bottle of water to share and half a strawberry at THOSE prices!!!! :lmao:

Actually, i'm not sure!! I think I might just order drinks... I'm not convinced stuff is going to get eaten anyhow after just having finished dinner so it seems a bit of a waste really.... I'm tempted by the fruit platter though which I figure would be nice and refreshing!!

Just waiting for the postie to arrive! I decided yesterday with 3 days to go I need some more holiday clothes and a wedding day handbag to shove my lipstick in... Now the wait is on to see if they arrive in time!!! Why oh why must I leave everything until the last minute!!

The Postman has been and delivered all those last minute things I ordered (bar a pair of flip flops that I can live without!!) The handbag is absolutely gorgeous! I love it!

I'm just back from having my nails done... I have a hair appointment in a couple of hours... and we are all checked in online for our flights!! Seats upstairs in the 'bubble' where its loads quieter than the PE seats downstairs... Huzzah!!

I just jumped online to say a big massive thank you to you all for some great advice over the last few months! :grouphug: I still have some packing to do and I need to tidy the house (why do we always make sure the house is spotless before we go away!?! :lmao: ) Hopefully i'll get back online later today... but if not... then I shall see you all in a few weeks!!
