Ok I am only on page 190 so I am still trying to get caught up but I have a question - it may be answered later on but I wanted to ask

My palo brunch I booked is gone - does that mean I am with a group that was accepted? And if yes should it be showing up online in our activities? I already do not remember what list I am on for what day and the time - I need to see if I need to move other things around.

DCL made me give the 24th back late last week. I didn't have names and Cabins to provide during our phone call, so she took the date back.

On another note (no pun intended) anyone finding it challenging to gather up singles for tips?

I am.

I mean, I live pretty much a cashless life. I pay for nearly everything with my debit card. Even my transit pass is automatically to both my account and I have pre-tax money taken out of every paycheck to go on the pass.

I can go weeks without handling cash.

Not even my bank has cash on hand, so it's not like I can go in there an get singles (everything is automated the tellers have no cash in their drawers).

It's not that easy to go into a store and get singles either.

I may have to resort to the supermarket and see if I look pitiful enough at the service counter at Jewel (Jewels) if they'll break some of my bills.

Oh that is so weird - I have no problem getting singles from my bank - any branch I go - I also have no trouble getting $2 bills.

If anyone needs some just let me know and I will bring what you need and you can give me big bills once on ship - I do not mind. Just PM me with what type you want and how much of each.

On the orginal list the 24th was by my name - I guess I missed an update (no surprise 0 I come and go too much) so at some point I was moved to the
23rd? Which is great actually because that is the we already had brunch booked for as it is my "birthday" (real birthday is February 23rd but had strep throat and hubby was not home to celebrate so we are all celebrating on the cruise) I am just excited to be with a group

Here's the latest batch of rumors from the DIS pod cast:

Summer 2009, Magic, PanamaCanal, to LA then Alaksan cruises

Summer 2010, Magic, PC then Trans Pacific to Hong Kong for HK/Toyoko cruises

Summer 2009, 2010, Wonder, 3 4 and 7 day Bahama/Carribbean rotatio

Supposedly a DCL executive 'slipped' in a meeting and refered to the two new ships as WISHES and DREAMS (yes, the plural version of the word).

I tried the link, but I am on one of my daughter's computers right now and it must have a very old word on it. It tried to start loading an new word file and then crashed.....needless to say, I gave up and asked!

Hi Pj - sorry about the delay in answering...just got to your ?

It's going ok - still getting used to it (I had to stop using it for about 2 weeks due to being so stuffy that I had to breathe through my mouth). I've been back on it for about 1 week.....noticed I don't wake up so much as I roll over - I seem to getting more used to keeping track of the hose and not pulling on it too much.

I did notice a little bit of a nose bleed (when I sneeze right after I wake up) - has anyone else had this happen?

Monica, I am always so far behind that all the questions are answered before I get to them. But, I did want to confirm that DCL told me that I had to fax the medical form requesting the distilled water,even though it should be on my record. We also had been told they would have it in the room on our arrival, but we had to call guest services when we got to the room, and they delivered it to us at that time. As far as the nosebleed in the morning goes-that is usually due to not enough humidity. (or if the nasal pillow isn't held in place well by the head strap, I guess it could cause a little irritation/bleeding) Do you know what setting the humidifier is set on. My RT told me to initially set it on 2, but I found that I would wake up with my nose actually hurting because it was cold. I know that sounds silly-but true. I changed the setting to 3 and have not had any further problems. It will increase the humidity, and maybe help with the nosebleed. of course, if it continues, check with your RT. Hope that helps...Vicki

Manuel improves on one front little by little, but the surgeon does not like what he sees in his surgical wound. Tomorrow morning they are going to attempt a CT Scan, and we will know more about where we are going from here. Progress on one front, but bad news so far on another. I am terrified of him having to go back into surgery and having any chance of survival . . .

I played around a bit with Ian's Teddy R. picture at the hospital . . .

Yeah I'm finding it absolute murder to get change back in US greenbacks. Just none to be had no how, for some strange reason.

But yes, like you Ian I too never use cash. My office staff were all shocked when I actually had a $10 bill the other day. I'm notorious for using my Credit Card. I will use it for everything. We get travel points when we use it so we have taken to using it for everything and then paying it off each month. We just keep track of what we are spending so we don't go over our budget. Almost have a return flight for 4 to New York built up in just over 1 year.
