Evening everyone!

The Tribe is playing a double header tonight....have one eye on that!

No nap for me today, and I am hurting!! All 3 kids took a nap, at 3 different times! UGH! usually I can get the 2 babies down at the same time and then Jenna will watch a movie, not today though. I don't function well on less then 7 hours sleep. Last night was 5. I'll be bed early tonight!!!

Kristin, thanks for the photos! It looks so PRETTY!!! We can't wait to get there!

Actually, I am "looking" at what it would cost to go over Labor Day Weekend. I know the parks will be insanely crowded, but with the free dining, it's hard to say no!!!

We are going to WDW from Aug. 24 to Sept. 1. We did free dining last year, it was hot and busy but being a Diser, I know what to avoid and how to make it pleasent. It is very affordable on the disney end, just adding the Airfare is nuts, esp. over labour day. Our flights doubled in one day!!! We waited for SW to release their dates and purchased the flights immediately, I cannot believe how much they have gone up. If you can get good flights, go for it!!!!!!!

Gina, I am looking at arriving on the 28th and leaving the 2nd. This way the kids would miss 2 days...Friday and Tuesday. BUT, if we get one of those insanely early flights, they could, potentially, just be late for school on Tuesday. We'll see..... From what I can figure on the Disney site, Pop Century, 5 nights with a 4 day base ticket, that's $1438.82...actually, all the values priced out the same. (our boys are 13 and 11, so are considered adults!) I tried chosing the dining and then went on to see if there was a place to enter the dining code and there's not, so I am going to ASSUME that the price is pretty close. Now to see about flights. The only downside to living in WV...the 2 cheap carriers that are direct, only fly into Sanford. That means we'll have the cost of a rental car....unless we book a non-direct, more expensive flight into MCO. We'll have to weigh our options.
If we do this, maybe we can meet for a snack or ride!!! Where are you all staying?

Okay, this is just crazy! The cheap flights don't fly on Tuesday, so we'd have to stay at WDW until Thurs. One week.
7 nights at WDW taking Southern Skyways Cheap Flight is $2664.58....plus we'd have to get a rental
5 nights at WDW taking Delta is $2718.82 and no rental, being able to use ME.
A difference of $54.24.....I know a rental might be, what? At the most another $100? Seems like a no-brainer to me. ALTHOUGH, that would mean the kids would miss 4 days and then 6 in October! I think the BOE might have something to say about that! hhmmmm.......

I have been watching SW for a week or so and the flights we would take haven't changed yet.

Of course, I just figured it out the other way.....Leave EARLY on Thurs and come back Monday. It only saves us $106.22. Flights are the same price, it's just the Disney cost changes. Personally, I think we should stay a week at that cost! I know Steve will be worried about school though. PLUS this will be Connor's first year at the Middle/Jr High School. I can actually see Steve saying forget it all....we're taking a cruise and we'll be there the day before....which I TOTALLY understand, but this would be fun!!!! and a cheap way to go! With both the boys counting as adults now, it's getting to be more expensive!
