I'm back and they were only $3.30. I'm glad we went. We found other stuff. I found some Tink and Minnie shorts for over my swim suit. We found cowboy hats that have pirate stuff on them and a pirate anklet. I also got something for Brooke's secret pal. It was fun.

Yeah it was good. Some things were still expensive. I did get one extra pair because I knew someone would want some and I'm not going back!

I hope they got lots of extra BANANAS for my BBC's! I wonder how much extra potasium I'll be ingesting over those two weeks?

When we boarded the Wonder in December, after muster drill, we got on our suits and headed straight for Signals. They didn't have any bananas yet. My friend hightailed it over to Goofys and grabbed a bunch for our bartender. He made quite a few over the next three days!

My husband is a ASL interpreter and I was one too- 10 years ago before kids! I am really rusty. It will be really nice to meet you.

Maybe you should hide some/all of them in you room, in the event they runout, that would be tragic. All that potasium can keep you up at night or cause vivid dreams!!

Our closest airport is Birmingham, where DH works, but their only scheduled US route is Continental to Newark. We have flown that route before but wanted a direct flight this time, in case of any delays (travel insurance for delays only applies on the flight leaving the UK ). We mostly fly from Manchester, which isn't that much further for us than Birmingham. So we're flying Manchester-Orlando, Los Angeles-Heathrow.

Manchester is always one of our other options, too. We can fly down there first and then head out to Orlando. I haven't flown that route for many years though! Our return flight will be Los Angeles - Heathrow - Aberdeen.

Won't be long now and we'll all be heading Stateside!

Back from shopping. Now it's time to get real. Packing...ugh! I'm glad I am doing the kid first!
BTW...if anyone has a Sport Chalet near them and a girl...they have super cute roxy flip flops on sale for $4.00!
I got taylor 2 pair! Most of their sale stuff was an additional 50% off too! The only deal.
I got my book and a new one from Jennifer Weiner..great author. I got the cigar opener...a new kind Hope it works!
And I bought my plastic tequilla bottles!

All is well here and hot! Looking forward to the trip. Putting my orca body in a pool chair with my books and just laying there!

Well, yesterday I mailed off two boxes to my motel in Cocoa Beach. I've never mailed anything ahead before. I was a nervous wreck, for no discernible reason. I got to the UPS store and didn't have the address to the motel and I could have sworn I put it in my pocket before I left home! They were able to look it up for me and the boxes are scheduled to arrive May 8, the same day I do!

Mailing those boxes really made the trip seem real, even though my living room is full of stuff in piles--of course, I often have stuff in piles and it's not because I'm going on a trip!

I printed out my packing list from my last cruise. It looks like I noted how many pairs of shorts, capris, tees, tanks, etc. I actually used. So if I double it, I should be good to go. If all that won't fit, I guess I'll be rinsing some things out. I don't want to send stuff to the laundry because I don't put most of my clothes in the dryer at home and I don't want it to get shrunk! Especially not on this cruise! I'm going to need all the room in my clothing that I can get!
