So I wandered over to the Theme Park/Attractions board (yes I have admitted before that I cheat on the DDA ;))
and came across the pick a pearl thread. I decided to take pictures and post of the pearls and settings that I got.
So I thought I share with ya all too.

I've always been afraid to get a pearl ring in fear of how delicate they are. Do you wear yours often?
ETA: Those are both beautiful settings too!

Thanks ladies.

Chanon yes I wear mine a lot and the pearl on the ring gets hit a lot, because I am a klutz.

:woohoo: Congrats Ann Marie and family on getting chosen to be Grand Marshals.

I have been consistently 12-20 years under my age. My favorite morning was when my age was less than Kristin's! Too bad she did the wrong test and didn't realize she was standing incorrectly on the board until AFTER the test had started. :rotfl: Otherwise she is always 20-21 so I doubt I will ever be younger than her again! :rotfl2:

12-20 years younger is awesome!! I usually fluctuate between 20 and 26, so sometimes I'm even a couple years older than my age! I certainly do worse on certain tests, for sure! I felt the same way with Brain Age .... if a certain test came up, I knew I'd be "old" :rotfl:

Jennifer - DD is having another ultra sound in a month and we should be able to tell then, as tiny as the baby is now she has one with it sucking its thumb.
:wizard: PD that you find the answer for the girls, my youngest had colic when I switched from breast to bottle, we switched to a low iron formula and it was like a miracle.

Heidi - I love your ring

Well, I finally found a doctor that I was comfortable with, and joined a gym that I felt ok about going to. A couple of weeks ago I got a letter from the doctor, due to her father's health problems she is relocating to Texas to be with him. Today I packed my bag, and stopped at the gym, the doors were locked and there were flyers from another gym posted all over the windows. It seems that while I was out of town last week the gym closed with no notice, and without compensating the people who had paid their fees in advance. I stopped by the other gym and I think I am going to go ahead and join, it's actually closer to the house, just not on the way home from work.

As far as the doctor goes, I got a case of pink eye back in March and since my doctor was booked I went to see another one, I really liked her but had no reason to switch, so now I have. It's always something.

How on earth could you possibly extrapolate THAT conclusion from having clean clothes left over? :confused3
I had clean clothes left over because it rained so much. On the days that we were only out for a few hours in the morning we didn't get all sweaty and gross like we did on the sunny days. My pin lanyard was all grimy with sunscreen, but I am pleased that it came out of the wash looking like new! :thumbsup2

Besides, I was already there, on airfare we already paid for! Might as well stay there! :rotfl2:

DH looked a bit pale when I told him airfare is $1100 per person for March. WITHOUT luggage! :scared1:

It was an easy conclusion to reach for most of us, I think! ;) Maybe you should plan all your vacations for the rainy season...

Heidi - your pearls and the settings are gorgeous!

YAY for Anne Marie and the family! I hope the weather held out for the parade. I know that the AK parade was moved up from 4:00 to 2:00 today.

Debbie - As sad as it is that you have to switch doctors and gyms, at least there was a good option for each!

You wanna know the answer? (And if you guys get tired of me posting her texts, let me know! I am having fun decipering them though!)

Here's her latest:
Ok parade was cancelled due to rain we r at ltt for dinner hopefuly wishes cruise will not be cancelled

That was at 5:45pm. And she already had at least one dole whip too. But there's nothing new about that! :rotfl:

Bummer that the parade was cancled. Do they get to due tomorrows parade then?

I'm sorry that you have to make changes, but with the ease of finding suitable solutions I think it may be meant to be.

Heidi I like your settings too. My pearl is in a ring setting with a small cubic zarconia on each side.

Work was so so tonight. Not many people, but the tips were pretty good :thumbsup2 I also found someone to cover my Thursday shift which will make my week much less stressful. At this point less stress is a very good thing ;) My next obstacle is the Pest Guy tomorrow. Thankfully I think I have everything suitably packaged for his inspection.
