DDA Chapter 11

Ok, back to work on the site/pictures. Then I HAVE to go to bed, while the girls are sleeping! Goodnight all! :goodvibes

Jennifer - pic #29 - that look on her face seems like she's saying "whoa, too close ma!" :rotfl:

ETA: I also had to share that whenever I have a bad moment/day at work, I just pull up your Picasa site. It's always nice to see your girls smiling faces!

Chanon, how sweet! :cloud9: Elise is the queen of funny faces, I swear. She cracks me up! I have a list of pictures to put together on a blog entry some day, if I ever get around to it. She's done stuff like that from Day 1. What a nut! ;)

Here's a sneak peek at Tater

I still need to make noses, ears and do something about arms. Nick can stick his arms out, but it really weighs down on the costume which is attached to a helmet on his head. I may have him use one of his own arms and make a fake arm for the other side :confused3

I had to put a little window in for Nick to have some vision, it is right above his eyes :confused3 Does it look okay?

also does the visor look horrible? The greens don't match. Maybe I should cover the visor with fabric or something?

Holy crap, Deb. That thing is huge! Great, but huge! Yes, the window looks fine. You did an amazing job.

I hope you are all having a good week.

My Grandpa is in the hospital.

I am off to bed, night all.

Yeah, this one is going to be a little hard to store or even move really :rotfl2: Of course it is my nearly 13 year old, who is almost as tall as me that need to be in it. :thumbsup2

Did you hear the rumor about the box in Virginia? The one where the box is not going anywhere for a few days because the sender can't find time to breath, let alone wrap it and get it to the post office? I think it's supposed to go out this weekend though. :thumbsup2

hey it's cousin lives in CO....actually a lot of it's cousins live here!!:rotfl:

Nick went to bed an hour before his bedtime complaining that he was tired and his ear hurt. I gave him a sudafed and ibuprophen so hopefully he'll wake up all better.

Chanon...

The 2 chicks next to me for my original cat 10 also were upgraded to cat 7.....maybe that portion won't be finished in drydock

I love it!!! You are amazingly creative....I think a fake arm would be great.

Glynis,,,I forget if you have pets. One trick is to call your pet and really get excited and ask the pet if you should buy or not. Gets them every time---they think you are crazy and they try to leave. :lmao:

Everyone has their own beliefs but Hal answered the door one time telling the person he was busy cleaning his rifle. The person left really fast :lmao:

Nice!!! I like both those ideas!

Tell them you don't live there. Works for me all the time!

Or pretend you don't speak English.

Or carry the phone with you and pretend you are on an important call. Tell the solicitor you aren't interested and go back to your "call".

More good ideas! Thanks. I'm filing these away for future use!

So my foot hurts. I am still sick. My Grandpa is in the hospital. Plus a volunteer brought up an issue that was supposedly settled months ago. Most of my pants are too small, this is nothing new as most did not fit before my trip. I need to start eating healthy and exercising. Somehow.

I have 3 crazy days in a row coming up. I am going to bed to crash. Hope you all have good days. Night all!

oh Becky I am so sorry:hug:

I just don't answer the door.

I would love to do that, but apparently, the people who lived here before us were giants!!! The peephole is way over my head. I can't even look out of it if I'm standing on my toes. No windows near the door, either. Bummer, huh?

Too cute! I love it. Mary used to do this thing Alan called "the nose dance". She'd scrunch her face up and breathe really fast through her nose. She began doing that in the hospital, and didn't stop until she was about 2. It was so cute!!!
