For as many people who end up being peeved at me for some stupid reason or another, I'm going to write a book, "How to make friends and Pis* People Off"


I just found out that the mother of the family we met at the beach last year was ticked at me because my daughter had invited another friend to go with us. "What would've happened if the 3 girls hadn't got along?," she asked. Her daughter's and her vaca's would've been ruined and it would've been all my fault.

Wow ... it's been very quiet around here lately ... ... and I notice Todd is still AWOL

i had leg/knee surgery last november.
and then i had another surgical procedure done on the knee in feb.

i'm now recovered!!

finally released from the surgeon last week........woo hoo

Gosh 2 knee ops in a few months, that`s got to have hurt Glad you`re all better. Must feel good

OK, curiosity has really got the better of me and have GOT to ask..........................what on earth is Hump day

First saw one of Todd`s posts a few weeks ago, (actually haven`t seen him on for a few days now) Then seen it again today.

Hump day is Wednesday. It is the middle of the work week, so I think it started as getting through Wednesday was like getting "over the hump"... which was shortened to the generic Hump Day. It's comparing the work week to climbing a hill. Monday and Tuesday = Uphill battle, Wednesday = Hump, Thursday and Friday = Downhill slide toward the weekend.


I haven't been around much lately again. Joshua is having problems and I'm spending a lot of time on him. Hopefully I can poke my nose in from time to time. Mac, make sure you leave the forwarding address when the thread moves.

Hi! We got off somewhat early tonight!! Ok, so we found out yesterday that our Mrs. Lovett had to leave due to laryngitis.....but luckily we got one today!! And only a week till we open! That's all that's new here.

Remember DD with the twisted ankle? PE teacher still making her walk on it even with doctor's slip?

Still arguing about--she comes home from school and if she doesn't start taking gym, she'll either get an F or have to take study hall because the semester is too far advanced to take another class.

Now that's really going to help with the GPA and scholarship stuff.

It's state mandated they have to take it...Yeah, like the rest of the state of WV is super slim. #2 on the fatness scale. And there's my DD who does ballet, tennis, cross country, softball is 5'8" and looks like a model--she takes off for 3 wks and is given all this grief

DH just got off the phone with principal and told him she could probably start taking class again by Tuesday after this break, but she needs a doctor's release... Now, I don't know about the rest of you but try to see a doctor over a holiday...
