Hi Beth!

Glad to hear you had a nice Easter - nice family picture!

WOW you have a very busy couple of weeks coming up! A birthday and all of that company coming - you're next two weeks will sure go fast! Rummage sales are always so much work - we've done our city-wide the last 2 years, I always start organizing weeks in advance too!

Congrants on the Mickey Mail! How fun! Nice to know that everything is confirmed and in place and ready to go!

Karen

I don't like it being crazy busy like this but it will sure help those days to countdown faster!! At least our weekdays right before we leave are going to be real mellow!!!

Yes Stephanie, the time will fly, that's the only "up" side to being so busy! The kids are having such a great time with the calendar, the are really doing well taking turns and Gabe counts everyday and announces how many days left!! It's so much fun!!

:cool1: Woo Hoo for Mickey Mail and 19 days :cool1:

Thanks Katie!!!!

:bday: Helen!! I hope she had a great day!! My niece turned two last month and all of a sudden words turned into 3 word sentences and it's like shes on the fast track to becoming an adult! She's telling her brothers what to do and she's like the little momma.

I know you mentioned your sons trip was right at age 2. Just wondering if you learned anything about going to Disney with a 2-year-old that you might be able to share. I've never gone to Disney with someone so young. Did you by any chance use the Child Care stations?

Thanks for the birthday wishes Alicia!! She had a great birthday! I can't believe she's 2!! Yes, we took Gabe a week after he turned 2. My most useful thing was to follow his lead. We lucked out and he napped in the stroller a lot so we didn't go back to the room much. If he really liked an attraction we did it again, (we rode Nemo 4 times in a row!). I did use the Child Station once, I found it just as easy as changing him in any other bathroom in the parks. They weren't always in a real convenient place. It was really easy last time to follow his lead because he was the only child we had with, he was out numbered 4 adults:1 child! This time around it may be tricky with a 5 and 2 year old, we plan to go back to the resort everyday for a bit. I hope that helped some! It was a magical trip and he had a GREAT time!!

Ahhhh!! Finally an update!! We had a busy week and my guests have gone, (until this Friday when one more comes!) Helen is officially 2!!! She had a great birthday celebration!!
Here are a few pics from her birthday:

Haven't done too much for our trip but we are down to 12 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana:
I can't wait until Wednesday so I can do on-line check-in!:woohoo: I think I have just about everything for the trip now, I just need to start the actual packing!! I did pick-up some glow sticks over the weekend and I am still on the hunt for a plain Mickey gift bag...I think I will check over at Hallmark, they are usually good for that kind of stuff! I promise to catch up on everyone's PTR too today, I feel so far behind!!!

If you know someone with a Cricut, I can't remember if that's what you used to make your countdown (I think you did but I'm being lazy and don't want to search back...:rolleyes1), you can buy a plain gift bag and make a big Mickey head, or a few different sized Mickey heads and glue them on the bag. You could even cut out letters with the Cricut to put their names on their bags, too. Just a thought...

Hi Beth!

CONGRATS ON 12 DAYS!!!! Wow I can't believe it is so close! Glad to see Helen had a good birthday - adorable in her princess dress!! Are you doing a dress up or boutique thing with her at all on your trip (sorry I'm not clued in to what is all available for little girls down there!)

Glad to hear you made it through your busy week, at least you now have a little bit of time before you next company arrives!

Any last minute Disney planning or shopping left to do?

Karen

12 DAYS!!! WOW!! How exciting! :cool1: :woohoo:

Happy late Birthday to Helen! Glad she had a good 2nd birthday. :goodvibes
Love that Cinderella dress too! Where did you get it?
I am trying to keep DD interested in taking a new dress (Cinderella) for the BBB and wearing the Cindy dress to dinner that night at 1900 park fare.

I didn't even think of using the Cricut!!! Thanks for the reminder! I have seen plenty of plain red gift bags, I could totally deck one out! I need to find the time and see if my friend will be able to find time to let me borrow it again! If I can't find anything at Hallmark I will definitely consider the cricut or stickers! I like that idea!!:thumbsup2

Hi Karen! We aren't going to do the Boutique this time around, I think the kids have to be 3 and up anyways. :sad1: I had no plans on bringing the dress with until I saw how cute she is in it and how cool and pic with Cinderella would be! So now I have to decide whether or not to bring it with!

I don't have much shopping left, I still haven't found a swimsuit, I was going to go on over to Kohl's this week and poke around a bit. My suit now is okay, I just don't like the bottoms, but I can make it work if I don't get to shopping! I am planning on getting a mani/pedi though next week!!!

Thanks Heather! My mom got her the dress back in January at the Disney Store on clearance for $15. I don't know what it retailed at, but I know we got it at quite a discount!!! The girls always look so cute when they are dressed up! It's fun to see Helen starting to like to dress up!!!

Helen looks so cute!! Looks like she's ready to meet some princesses! ;) Happy Belated Birthday!!

DD looks so adorable in her Cinderella dress. You are going to have so much fun with her. My DD will be 3 in a couple of weeks, and she still talks about everything she saw at Disney last year when she was 2. I am so excited for you!! Almost doing the single digit dance!!!

:dance3::woohoo::dance3::woohoo::dance3:

tAke the Cindy dress! It will be so stinkin cute for photopass on the bridge in front of the castle. It doesn't take much room in the suitcase.

Almost single digits!!!
