I just found your thread today and read through all your reviews - I loved it! It sounds like you had great experiences everywhere! It's too bad your celebrations weren't mentioned everywhere though! :confused3 Citricos had you covered though, didn't they! :cool1:

Looking forward to reading your Final Thoughts, Part 2!

I know, right!?! Oh well we had a fabulous time anyway!!!

And i'm really glad you liked my reviews!!:)

Alright guys!!! So my DH wants to do three separate posts and he wrote the first one and I'm SUUUPER EXCITED to introduce for the first time ever, my DH!!!!

Oh by the way, I'll be putting these on my first page under "DH's Top Picks", just so it will be easier to find...you know me, I love organization! :lmao:

Hello I’m Leshaface’s DH! I’m a long time lurker, first time responder….and by lurking I mean ogling at the food porn…hmmmm, food porn (Homer Simpson). :lmao:

I have no idea what all these abbreviations mean (such as DH) but I’m going to use them throughout, because she told me I had to use them.

So let’s get started on my top 3 Signature Restaurants, working my way up to #1.

As my wife has probably explained in her Disney novel, I’m not a Disneyland fan, but if Disneyworld was a lady, I would treat her out to one of my top 3 signature restaurants.

Starting at #3: Artist Point – This was our first signature restaurant of our trip and one of those that stood out from beginning to end. I myself ordered the Venison Potstickers, but probably ate more of my wife’s Portabello Mushroom Soup then she wanted. From the first moment I saw that soup I had to formally introduce myself. I said to it, “My name is DH, and I’m your density, I mean destiny.” (Back to the Future). :rotfl2: Then I treated it like any man would do, and took advantage of it. After a solid ten minutes of spooning, I had to let it go and move onto something that could fulfill all my needs….buffalo. I have never had steak such as this. Buffalo is cooked at most medium-rare but I would have eaten it if it still had fur on it, cuz I love me some buffalo. I am beginning to like buffalo so much, I would eat Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs if not overcooked, and without the extra skin of course. ;)

Once your entrée is finished, many people turn toward a sweet ending. Me on the other hand, I could finish with a small entrée. My motto has always been “Desserts, we don’t need no stinkin desserts.” (Blazing Saddles) So when we order dessert my DW (did I get that right ) gets to choose two desserts.

Overall, I don’t remember the ambiance because I had too many Yuenglings or did I have wine... Who cares that’s why someone invented the still picture machine to remember these sort of things. :rotfl: One thing is for sure though. I always remember the food, and Artist Point could be your #1 if you give it a chance. “So for all you naysayers out there, I have two strong words for you: Come on!!! Come on!!!” (Family Guy- Mr. Griffin Goes to Washington).

Number 2 coming soon...

Back to the Future is my all time favorite move, and I love that scene when Marty's dad tries to introduce himself to his future wife. Also, as I responded to your wife in a much earlier post, I live about 15 minutes away from the original Yuengling brewery. My dad was thrilled to find Yuengling Lager when we took him to WDW in 2006. They go down so smoothly and get to you faster than you might think.

"I want you to make like a tree, and get outta here." :happytv:

We're going to PA in a few weeks, and we're gonna be having lots of Yuengling to make up for the 5 months that we haven't had any! :thumbsup2

LOVED your review. DH and I are also a young couple from Cali and it was nice to get your perspective...You guys are too cute! :goodvibes

Hello DH :goodvibes
Loved your review and love your writing style :thumbsup2
Before you know it you will constantly be referring to CG, AP, YS, CRT etc etc :rotfl:

I LOVE my DH! :rotfl2:

He is so funny!

When he was finished writing his post he read it to me and my mom and we were dying! :lmao:

Can't you just imagine the two of us quoting stuff back and forth every, single day?! LOL!!

So some pretty fantabulous news yesterday...nothing huge but baby steps..

My mom does NOT fly anywhere, unless she gets a little tipsy..which is no bueno (for some of us ;)). Well anyway while DH was writing his post, the Walt Disney World Resort was on the Travel Channel and mom was kinda of glancing at the tv every now and then, and I asked her (knowing she would say no), "If me, DH, my brother, and his wife were to go to WDW together, would you come along and make it a family trip?"....she said PERHAPS!! THAT IS HUGE PEOPLE!!! I started choking :lmao: I would  if the whole family would be able to go to WDW together!

Ah, anyways so I'll be starting my Top 3 later too! I know this is dragging on and on and on, but I just can't bear to see it lock up!!!

Happy Hump Day mis amigos! :surfweb:

Ok..your DH is Soo funny!!(but not as funny as you ;) ) I can't wait to read the rest of his picks!

I love the fact that the whole family is going to WDW together in a few weeks!! I completely understand what you mean!!! My mom doesn't fly either...she has before but she hates it. I don't like to fly either, but I would to go somewhere if there was no other way to get there...which is why I flew to Europe back in college!

Your DH is too funny...definitely let him make up for lost time on the Yeungling!! :rotfl: I would be lucky to get my DH to lurk here, let alone sign up! He just asks me whatever question he has, I post, someone answers and I tell him! I really don't mind though, I enjoy the boards! :lmao:

29 days until we leave for Florida!!! And now you will REALLY think I'm a nut, but.....yesterday I turned 33, and now all 4 of us are officially the age we will be on our WDW trip...does it even make any sense as all to be excited about that?? :confused3:rotfl:

OK loved the post from DH. Mainly because Back to the Future is one of my favorite movies! You guys are just too cute:lovestruc Can't wait to read the last two reviews!!

DH is as funny as he is cute. We went to Artist Point years ago in the 90's and I was not impressed with it, I believe we did lunch one day while staying at WL and seems I had ordered a buffalo burger, maybe it was just the thought of eating buffalo, I know the rest of my family liked it, I do not think back then it was a signature restaurant but I could be wrong.

So happy for you that your mother is willing to go with you to WDW. We have tried and tried to get my DH mother to come with us but its a no go...even this year since I wanted to go for Thankgiving but nope she won't , she has never flown :sad2:

I just read your entire dining review (minus the posts in between). You did a WONDERFUL job!! I really enjoy your writing style and all the pictures. I love your bubbly personality, and you and your hubby are adorable. Thanks for a great read!!

Just read all your reviews. i love your writing style, very entertaining and informative.

And, thanks to you, I wanted to make all new dining reservations and all of those restaurants. However, I decided to be rational and only add one, Chefs de France. The pics of that sandwich did me in! And tried to strategize a time that we could see Remy. My two year old would love it!

Can't wait for your next trip (When is it BTW) for more reviews

I did the same thing with Chefs de France. Originally we were thinking about going there for dinner, but then we decided on lunch in case Remy still be there next month. We have a 12pm ADR and that is the time he is supposed to start making his rounds, so I am hoping he makes it to our table. My boys love the movie Ratatouille! I haven't told them about the possibility of seeing Remy though...they're only 3 and 5 and just in case he's not there I don't want them to be upset. So if we do see him, it will be a nice surprise for them! The lunch menu is also very appealing at Chefs de France, and having lunch there gave us time to go back to Biergarten for dinner, which we loved last time!!

Don't worry I won't tell him you said that!! :lmao:

The last time my mom flew was back when I was 13, so 13 years ago!...man how time flys (literally :rotfl2:). And I do remember on one of the flights she was freakin out and crying because we were going through some turbulence. I'm thinking maybe her doc can prescribe her something to get her through a plane ride, and then I would have to consider making it a non-stop flight or a connecting flight...hmmm...this may be harder than I thought :rotfl: That's okay! That's why I'm planner! :thumbsup2

My DH was the exact same way your DH...when it came to the food porn of any food at the World, he wanted to see it! And if he had a question, he wanted me to research it for him and get back to him..what am I, his personal Disney Secretary?! :lmao: And I didn't mind either too!

Omgosh Happy Belated Birthday!!!:bday: Wow your trip is really coming up quick!!! I can't believe we're already going to be on the 11th of June! This is crazy!

OK loved the post from DH. Mainly because Back to the Future is one of my favorite movies! You guys are just too cute:lovestruc Can't wait to read the last two reviews!!

He love, love, LOVES Back to the Future...in fact on the Disney DVD I just made of us, we're on the Tomorrowland Speedway and he was driving, I was filming, and he stopped the car and started doing the scene where MJF was trying to start the car but it wouldn't then he slammed his head into the steering wheel and it started up! :rotfl: Yeah, DH's crazy!

Oh no, this will DEFINITELY go to his head! :rotfl: I really hope you will forgive AP and give it a go sometime! It's wonderful! I'm thinking about doing all the planning and showing her the itinerary and show her the resorts and ask her where she would like to stay at (her style is very GF, so probably there!)...When there's a will, there's a way...and that way will have to be alcohol for her!!! :rotfl2:

Thank you so much! I loved writing it and can't wait to get back to WDW to write an entire new review...hopefully someday soon!!!

Isn't that sandwich pic to die for?! Omgoodness your child will love Remy!! From what we saw, children were smiling and laughing all over the place with Remy!

Oh goodness, I'm hoping Summer or Winter of 2012....sounds sooo far away but the Disboards are here to keep me sane till then! :lmao:

Thanks so much for the birthday wishes!! Tomorrow we're going out to dinner with the family, only 5 minutes away from my house, can't wait!! It is crazy how fast time flies!

Yeah, I'm the Disney secretary in the family too!! And I don't mind it either! I love planning our vacations! I already know which cruise we're going on next summer and we haven't left for Florida yet! :lmao:

My mom gets very nervous when a flight is turbulent also. So do I. Getting something prescribed by her doctor to calm her down is definitely worth looking into, because she would have such a great time with you guys! :goodvibes

Late getting started, but joining in anyway. That Kona Cafe report sucked me right in.......

Bangzoom how was your bday dinner!!?? Omgosh and your countdown!!! It's getting suppper close!

So you'll know better than me how busy it will be...My bro and his brand new bride, will be doing a disney cruise/land trip...4 or 5 days at sea and 3 days at the World...they're leaving next monday for their cruise and immediately after that will be at WDW....how busy do you think it will be?? It's summer, plus they'll be there on the weekend...I've been trying my darndest to try and encourage them to work out some touring plan, but I'm thinking that they're( I should say she) it will be exactly like Disneyland, which are two completely different entities...first they have NO idea the feel of true humidity is, and they don't even know what to do in the different parks...it makes me a little nervous for them because they KNOW i've been to WDW twice already and know a little about it...i'm also bothered because if they end up not planning accordingly, they may have a horrible time and never return again (remember, my mom said she would do a family trip out to WDW?!?!?)....

...and am about to start reading ;)

Yay, I hope you like it!! Report back!!! :)

Late getting started, but joining in anyway. That Kona Cafe report sucked me right in.......

It's all good...I'm always late on everyone's TR's anyways!!! Let me know how you like it!
