OK based on Disney's site it looks like Brunch is available on Key west day but not high tea. High tea is like 3-4 so that makes sense that it is only on sea days

Spare a thought for sleepy old me tonight as we can also book activities this evening - except for me it will be a very early morning - the alarm is set for 4:50am

We have only done a 3 night before, and it was just DH and I with DD, so we didn't go to Palo. I would really like to book an evening meal for us, if there is still availability.

The Palo meets you have planned sound great, but I am very conscious that we are travelling with DH's family, primarily for his Mum's 60th, so I don't want to keep making plans without them. They haven't cruised before, so they have some time to wait until they can book anything. I'm not sure how possible it is, but if his Mum and Dad can't get Palo, I think we will offer them our booking (if we get it!)

I have a question I'm hoping someone can help me with. We can book our excursions tonight and my Mom is taking my nieces on a dolphin encounter, but can't book my nieces until the 16th. If she books the encounter under my daughter's names can my nieces just take their places? They are all the same ages.

Ask this one on the main board for a quick reply. I would think maybe you could do that, since we can do that with Palo ressies, BUT something tells me for excursions you can't. Wish I could give you a definate answer. But as you kind of need to know this tonight, post it on the main board too.

I just hung up with Disney. It doesn't look like it will work out. I'm going to have to wait until their date opens up.

Our reservation is linked to my parents reservation....can I book Palo for all 5 of us (since they are linked) OR do we each have to book under our own reservation number even though we want to be together? (my parents dont have a computer)

I cant remember how we did it last time and I want to be ready...

Interestingly enough, I just checked High Tea and there were no times available. Since there is so much interest in High Tea I thought I would book one in case someone else couldn't get a reservation. Sorry, but I won't be able to help.

OK. . . so, I am a morning person, Linda is not . . . I'm downstairs on my computer updating our roll call and Linda comes down, showered and dressed asking if I wanted to go out to breakfast - um!! yes!! my favorite meal of the day!

So, we head out . . . are just a few minutes from the diner and Linda says, "oh! by the way, I turned your alarm off because I saw you had it set for 11:50 PM" - I think my head spun so fast it almost flew off!! And of course I am shouting. . .

"PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE KIDDING!!!"

She then explains to me, "11:50 PM is 10 minutes before MIDNIGHT!!"

Apparently she forgot that I knew how to tell time . . .

She offered to go back home and re-set it before breakfast but I knew that risked her not going back out again . . . so, we are home and the alarm is reset!!

that. . . was a close one!

I just came up to set my alarm and can't believe how many posts I missed today. I had to laugh when I read your post after just setting my alarm.

I AM staying up, but right now at 9:20 I am feeling SO ILL! I really wish I could go to bed right now. Since supper time my throat has Really started to hurt, my eyes hurt and my ears hurt. Rotten time (middle of summer) to get sick, Ugghhh! Will be sleeping till noon tomorrow though! So I have that to look forward to!

Yes, Nachi is at their Limit for that day, and it would appear that it's ALL from our Cruise!!!!

Ron saw a thread on CC Coz board where someone was complaining about Nachi being full on their day due to a "very LARGE private party" tee hee hee! Wonder if by chance that day was Nov. 3?

Would someone who doesn't actually like tea enjoy the tea? Like are the scones and stuff worth the charge themselves? lol

I think the charge for tea is only $5/pp. BUT I do believe the pastries available in Cove Cafe are the ones you get in Palo at tea and brunch! Yumm-O! (and they're freee!!)

I don't like champagne but am planning on doing the brunch and just figuring I can give my glass to someone else.

I'm not big on Champagne either but we tried what they gave us at the brunch and loved it! I'll happily accept donation glasses!

Yeah it is crazy hard to get into. If I hadn't seen pictures of it before I'd think it is an urban legend.

Nenner, did you make the cruise graphic in your signature. The link to on the front page, the white background one, I want to put on white T-shirts, but the text at the top that reads "Not So Scary" is slightly blurred on the White background. It's not blurred on the Black background though. Does it look that way for you? Perhaps it's my own eyesight
What font did you use for that? I can fix it myself, but really like the font that was used for it.
I've ordered T-shirt transfers from Amy Mickey and can't wait to make these shirts up!

In Cozumel, we've already done Tulum and Chitanitszu (or however you spell it) but we're in debate on what we want to do. A lot of the excursions look like they are a good chunk away from the boat. And, with it being pirate night, I don't want to be wiped out for our pirate party night!

We're considering the Jeep or dune buggy-does anyone have any thoughts on those? What's this Nechi I keep reading about on this thread?

Key West we're just going to wander and have lunch at Mangoes-our favorite restaurant on the island. And of course, chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick.

Grand Cayman, Nemo will be diving; I'll be port-day spa specializing.

Nachi Cocom is a private Beach in Cozumel. They limit it to 100 people per day. The price of the day there includes the pool, the beach, lounge chairs lunch and open bar!!! An awesome relaxing way to spend the day I think. Unfortunately, we have already reached our capacity there for our Cozumel Day, and it's all Disers from our Cruise! I've never been, but am SO looking forward to that.

Well, I am awake since we just got home from a Somerset Patriots game!
I think I will see if I can get a Palo Tea or brunch. I did experience the tea during the Panama Canal cruise and I really enjoyed it.... since I am traveling with DCL newbies, it would be nice to have them experience it!

Ugh ... my poor eyes keep drooping shut. We were up early since my parents picked up DS11 at 6am this morning to head for the airport. Then we had a family party (DH's side of the family). I'm surfing the net trying to stay awake...

Fingers crossed for Tea, but it sounds like it is harder to get now I've always been able to get it on our other 4 cruises.
