Yes, the WB Transatlantic Cruise leaving this September. Sorry for not being clear on that. (Hopefully I have the right board!!)

My inlaws have had a dream for years to cross the Atlantic. My husband, kids and I have been on several Disney Cruises and are hooked on Disney Cruises, and we brought my inlaws on our last Disney Cruise this past January (7-day Eastern), and they are now HOOKED. They never thought they'd like cruising, but the Disney Cruise hooked them... they just loved the wholesome family atomosphere and cruising life in general. So, they booked this WB Transatlantic on that cruise this past January and are now fulfilling a dream they've had for years to cross the Atlantic!

We would have gone (would have LOVED to go), but we didn't want our children to miss the first couple weeks of school... knowing our kids, I think it would have been hard on them to miss the first couple weeks of school. So, we booked the PC Cruise in Jan and are pulling them from school mid-year, which will be easier on the kids (I've arlready talked with their teachers, too, and we have 100% support, so that is great).

Yes, I've seen you on the PC Cruise meet boards!! That's awesome you're going on this WB Transatlantic and the PC cruise! Have a GREAT time. I will definitely see you on the Panama Canal cruise... looking forward to meeting people from the cruise meet board in Jan.

In the mean time, if you do happen know of anyone in this cruise meet who is planning or hoping to attend chapel services, maybe let them know my inlaws are looking to hook up with people going to chapel.

Pirate night is night 9 which is Sept 26 when we are at sea.

We are Noel and John Birkner from Woodside, California. I am 59 and John is 66. This is our 4th DCL cruise but have cruised many times on other cruise lines.

Other DIS members I am sure will answer more of your questions, so let me give you some general information about our cruise thread.

Be sure you read page one for all the exciting things that are happening on this cruise. Here is a partial list.

1. PM DisneyVegas1 to see if there are any cruise shirts left. Here is the Link to what the the shirts look like. Last post I believe there was 1 AS. If that size don't work for you, you can print a copy of the logo from the transatlantic pirates site and make an iron on tee shirt
2. PM Buckeye Gal with your hotel and flight information, see post #9
3. Decide if you want Mickey Mouse shirts which some of us are wearing to dinner of Sept 28 and if you want to join us to order, see post #1
4. If you want to link your dining ressies, PM Mrs. Mork if you are early or PM Totally Angelic if you are late.
5. Sign up on the roll call and send your pictures to the our cruise website at Transatlantic Pirateswebsite.
6. PM Connie (Con5421) if you would like to purchase a lanyard pin. see post #6.
7. Let mdwoodman know, if you can join the HRC pre cruise meet on 17 September @ 1700. See Post 15.

and put your DIS name at the bottom of the list - then put in the sizes you need for your wristbands (they are a free gift) and fill in any other information you would like to share!
9. If you want to be in the FE please email akblair@charter.net with your family info.
10. PM (Private Message) Sarah (Gismo1554) if you have any special occasions or birthdays that you are celebrating on board so she can put in our personal cruise Navigator.

Welcome!!! We are Dennis and Angie and we too are old codgers. We would love to have you join in any of the fun activities we have planned. Geezer meets at the Cove Cafe at the end of the day are open to all...no need to sign up just come on by and have some hot chocolate and enjoy the company. Dennis and I may go to chapel services if they are offered. Also, if you want to link for dining you would need to send a PM to me for early, to TotallyAngelic for late. That would get you at a table with DIS people for dinner. We need to get that firmed up soon though as I think they will be doing the dining seating arrangements soon.
