Halloween Exchange Sent/Received thread (Complete!)

Marcie, Rowen received his package. Yay! I have not been home to know what to post. As soon as possible, I will let everyone know what his treasure was! All I know right now was that he was supposed to wait for his brother's package to come, so they could open theirs together. He was not a happy camper about that, and his bottom lip was sticking out quite a bit! His brother Aston came home from school, and was sooo excited to see Rownen's package, that he wanted him to open it up anyways. All was good, and I heard that Rowen shared some of his booty with Aston. So cute!

I need to call my DIL and see if Aston has his yet.

Okay, so I didn't participate in this exchange even though I really wanted to. As I said before, the timing was just off for me with Ruben's surgery and some other personal things going on which made me unsure if I'd be able to shop & send on time.

Anyway, Rochelle had posted a pic on Facebook of a really cute tote bag that had a bunch of different characters on it and I mentioned how I'd love to have one of those.

Well, she sent me one along with a few other bits of "pixie dust"!!
She sent me the tote, a very nice letter, a Mickey pen, a Hello Kitty chapstick, little crown hair clips, a flower barrette, and the cutest Mickey scarecrown antenna topper. (it's really too cute to actually use on my antenna!!!)

Thank you so much Rochelle! Even though I wasn't able to do the exchange it was so nice to find something fun and cheery waiting for me in the mailbox.

I am a bit concerned though about my box. I sent it priorty last Wed and my person is in CA and they haven't posted yet. Since people in other states are getting their's fairly quickly I sure hope they didn't put her's on her porch or something and someone took it!!!

I got delivery confirmation but I have never had to use it before because everyone always posted that they got it right away. I have the receipt from the post office does anyone know how to use it?

So....I got home in time to enjoy opening my package before I had to get busy with the kids. Like I said it was from Wendy. This is what I saw when I first opened it.

Everything came in a really cute bag that I can definitely use to tote stuff back and forth to work and the shop all through October. This is what it looked like in the bag. So many goodies to open.

I got lots of goodies. I already ate one of the reeses pumpkins. Yummo. Aerial says she wants to fix the Reeses Dessert Bars. That is so cool how the pan is in the box and everything. My kind of baking!!! The candy came in a glass pumpkin candy dish which i've already put in my living room. Deuce helped me put the fingertip towels on the oven and he also looked through the recipe book and found some things for us to make. The emergency chocolate I will bring to work, for that stressful moment.

I also got some fun and girlie things!!!! A bright green witch hat, some play dough....which i don't see in any of my pics?? hmm...Glow bracelets and a glow in the dark trident sword. A really cute pumpkin pin that I can wear to work, it lights up. Some sleeping beauty red glitter hair gel. And a note pad and sticky notes, i'm in bed already and dont remember exactly what they say but something about shoes, shopping, jewelry. Ohhhh and a bunch of Disney Villan stickers. I brought those to the shop and put them in the cash register for safe keeping. I want a disney villian tattoo and may use one of them.

And......the part i'll really enjoy.....Halloween will be a party.....

Noelle loves that Reeses dessert kit. She likes it because it's really good and she can make it herself whenever she wants. And I saw that emergency chocolate bar at Target the other day, and thought to myself, hey, that would be cute for an exchange! lol
