Besides a backpack or purse, anyone have a favorite?

I'm trying to figure out what to take that is small and lightweight and that I can wear across my chest to hold small things like my camera, money, credit cards, AP's and some "personal" items :sad2: I usually just stick my stuff in my pocekts but this time Im going to have to take some sort of bag. I'm not particularly fond of the fanny pack and I have a backpack but its sort of on the big side so I dont really want to lug it around...any ideas or thoughts or does anyone have an extra/spare that they have lying around they wouldnt mind mailing to me?? I can send it back plus some $$$ to cover the shipping the day after I get back :flower3:

Before our last trip, I ran out to the local camera/photography store and bought a slightly larger version of a regular camera holder. The strap goes across your back and chest so you don't have to worry about carrying it. I fir my camera, both of our room cards and ID's, some chapstick, hand sanitizer, and even my blackberry for a day. We got to skip the bag check line, which was great, and it was only $15!

I like my Sherpani Zoom bag. It is small, cross body, and once I put it on in the morning I don't take it off, so no chance of losing it! It has several zip compartments...one for tickets, one for fastpasses, one for my phone, a main compartment for wallet, and camera. Its small, so it doesn't get in the way. I got it at REI, but they also sell it online at ebags, and zappos. I really like having seperate zip compartments so I don't have to worry about having my tickets fall out when I get out my fastpasses (I am keeper of the tickets and fastpasses for my family!).

Those suggestions sound great but are either big enough to hold my tampons?

ugh, hate that! but I guess it had to be said...:sad2:

I carry a Baggallini messenger bag at the parks. It's just the right size, and the little pocket on the front strap is perfect for park tickets & fast passes. It also has a pocket for a cell phone, and a mesh pocket for a water bottle.
Mine looks like this:

I LOVE sherpani bags and am a HUGE advocate for them! I believe right now you can order direct from their website with FREE shipping. The turn-around is usually VERY quick. I get my orders in less than a week (I think). they also have wonderful customer service!

I do use the hip bag (more fashionable fanny pack) called the QUBE. I have last years style. In it I am able to fit my wallet, (the Zoe by sherpani) my autograph book and pen, a bottle of advil, my sunglasses, and a few other things. My camera is an older P&S so a little bigger so I actually slide the case for that on the strap and carry it that way. I LOVE that my bag is easily accessible but I keep the weight off my back/shoulders. I can also slide it around to my back so it is not visible in most of my pictures.

www.sherpani.com is the website

For a bag that can be worn cross body the Zoom or Switch are good options, the Pica is a good one for a little bigger and for one that can hold quite a bit without looking like it does I like the Milli. But like I said for a park bag I LOVE the Qube.

I have this bag in red and it is my trip bag. Not only do I use it for Disney but pretty much for any day trip. It's not too big and holds everything we need. I even put our lightweight jackets in them last year once it got warm.

Hi Ladies!!

A while back I'd gotten this bag and a nice pastel purple one for my Disney trips. I love these bags!!!!! They can hold water bottles on either side or sippy cups. It holds all your personal items as well as a few extras. They have newer bags now with all sorts of color combinations.

All the bags that are being posted are cute!

The Disney Store has personalized messenger bags that look nice and smallish on clearance right now online. $9.99 plus I think $3.95 if you want it personalized, plus shipping. 4 colors. They have mickey and look cute. I may order one.

FYI the personalization charge does not count toward a $75 purchase to get free shipping (I had to email them yesterday to find that out).

Well...I ended up using a Lizzy by Vera Bradley when I was in WDW in Feb. (I used a backpack in DL last summer....too HOT!!)

I would venture to say that bag is MY favorite park bag. Here's a thread that shows pics of it in use and what all I am able to stuff into mine!

I wear it cross-body style and can even use it around my waist like a fanny pack, if necessary. It was a great size for me to use!

I bought a cross shoulder sling bag from Target. It is like one on amazon but I didn't pay $60 for it. I think it is Swiss Gear or the Target knock-off of that brand. You can see the image here: Sling Bag Picture Link

I also use a Baggallini but mine is Hot Pink!

Thank you everyone, I will look more into it tonight and hope I can find something I like! :thumbsup2

A wristlet would work. I happen to know your items will fit into it :rolleyes1

My husband got me one so I would ditch my fanny pack idea and I have to say I actually love it. Mine is coach but you can pick them up for about $12 at target. Its just a wallet looking thing with a strap on it so you can wear it around your wrist or even hook it to a stroller or something. Bonus part is you can still use it as a wallet.
