Looks like somebody is spending a lot of quality time in the World Showcase! :thumbsup2

Please tell me you've got the combine doing pop-a-wheelies and flips! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2 i was suprised how many open resi. times there are! the mk is hard to get into but liberty tree is still avail. for most nights of our stay. october 1st, forget it, theres nothing open on the 1st. i had to promise tammy we can eat in mexico in may. we will probably go back to whispering canyon on that trip. briana and i are going to do the, as she calls it, "the scooter tour" over at epcot in may. so she looking forward to that. :thumbsup2

Morning guys! Happy Monday!

:lmao: he should be our morning mascot! :lmao:

Just got a call from the neuro guy. The MRI of her brain found nothing! OK, bad joke but I can joke about it now. The news was very positive. No tumors, pressure was fine and everything was normal. Next step is the "lumbar puncture" but based on the MRI he doubts that it will show anything negative.

Not sure what the steps will be after that. Doc, it might be an abnormal migraine. I will ask then. We will see as things unfold but feeling much better now.

Thanks again guys. Appreciate it.

Great that they didn't find anything bad, but frustrating that there isn't an answer. Neuro is always very frustrating. One of my favorite analogies is that taking an MRI is like taking a picture of New York City from space. Just because all the buildings are standing up, doesn't mean everythings okay. Getting at the functioning (why she's having the headaches or even just stopping them) is much more difficult and unfortunately may just be trial and error with medications. Will keep praying for a quick resolution!

ok, i got all my adrs done taday. had to add a few. see what you think:
wednesday = rose & crown dinner
thursday = crystal palace breakfast
friday = teppan edo dinner
sunday = cinderellas royal table breakfast

i maybe working on one more yet, ill let you know.:thumbsup2

Nice, Dave! Never eaten at Rose and Crown. May try to fit that one in. No Hollywood or Animal Kingdom this trip?

No, and an engineer like you should understand why. A combine is driven by the front axle and steered by the rear. The weight is also distributed so that it is actually a little bit front heavy... geez. :sad2: :lmao:
But it can turn this:
corn-biofuel-enzymes_1.jpg

into this:
harvested_pouring_grain.png

8 rows at a time while it's running 5mph. Isn't that impressive enough???:confused3

Most of the work I was doing was with GPS mapping on the computer. Shameless plug time: It's the thing next to Scotty's head in the picture in your TR.:thumbsup2

dont dip it diesel!!:thumbsup2 (did that help? its all i know about smart phones.:lmao:)
That's always been my goal. I just have a history of failure in this area.:lmao::rotfl2:

I was going to get the G'zone Commando for that reason... dust proof, waterproof, shatter resistant. I played with it and I just didn't like the touch screen. iPhone and the Motorola/Samsung/HTC Droids were far and away better in that area.

I love that exhibit in the Museum of Science and Industry. That is very cool, Andy! What a neat job!

In honor of talk like a pirate day, I took another step on my path toward mutiny in my town's scouting program. Tonight, my Pack's Cubmaster from last year (who refused to cross over into the town Troop because of the environment there and joined a neighboring town's Troop) and I are meeting over a beer to discuss starting a new Troop in town. pirate:

Congratulations to The Incredibles and the Splash Mountaineers for making it to this week's Championship game.

The 5th-seeded Incredibles beat the top seed, PhineastoEzratoGus, by virtue of an 8-0 whitewash, although the scores were very close within each scoring category. I guess Mr. Incredible stole the "Shutout-inator" and put it to good use.

They will face the 2nd-seeded Splash Mountaineers who squeaked by a very determined Jungle (Nelson) Cruz and his team of headhunters by the score of 6-4.

Will the Splash Mountaineers reach their Laughing Place?
Will The Incredibles unleash a Jack-Jack attack and take the title?

Either way, it should be a good one. Best of luck to both teams this week.

[/QUOTE]

we are going to hollywood studios for the morning emh. theres a few thing we like to do over there and we are usualy done by 1pm. we like eating at the bake shop next to the brown durby.:lmao: for some reason, we just cant get into animal kingdom. ive been there one time, tammy and briana have gone over twice,(while i was on the keys to the kingdom tour) and i dont know if its because its been summer when we have gone and it seems to be hotter there than any where else on the planet, or we are not into animals that much. i could spend more time at hollywood but its not one of tammys favs. we split our days into two. we do rope drops, go back for a nap around 1 or so and back to a park around 4. ive just always done it that way since i was a kid and it just seems to work out good for us. everyone is well rested and ready to go. no melt downs. we spend 99 percent of our time at epcot and mk. tammy and i could just sit for hours in epcot, by mouse gear, on a bench and watch the fountain and the people. i think thats where you find us when we retire.:lmao: we have eaten at most of the places in hollywood and we just always seem to end up back in epcot to eat.

I have a question for you guys. I was speaking with a co-worker yesterday and they said they went to Kidani in June and when they checked in they asked for a room upgrade to one with a view and they were given one at no additional charge! I am ready to raise Fed's BS flag on this.

They showed me some pics but they were all close up so I can't tell where they were taken from. Have any of you ever received such an upgrade? :confused3

It happens, not terribly often, but it happens. Our first trip, we booked a Poly Garden View room. We got a Magic Kingdom View :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

A trip my wife and I took saw us get upgraded from a standard view BWI room to a lovely Boardwalk View room with an awesome balcony. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Our second stay at the Poly, for which we paid for the MKV room up front with a big discount, I was talking to a guy at the bar and he said his family paid for a Garden View room there, and got upgraded to Poly MKV Concierge. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I consider that one of the biggest wins ever in the upgrade sweepstakes. From these and other stories, the secret seems to be go with the low-end of the scale (Garden View or Standard View) and you stand a better chance of getting upgraded. They want to hook you on the higher levels so that when you come back, you pay for those levels up front, just like we did on our second trip.

DVC members can buy the dining plan. AP holders can buy the dining plan if they're staying at a Disney resort, but they usually get better value out of buying a Tables in Wonderland card and using that.

Just to expand on Aaron's point, you can get both. This is particularly good if, for example, you tend to eat everything on the DDP (entree, dessert), but also like to have stuff not on the plan (alcohol, smoothies, appetizers, second breakfast, etc.). Using it this way the TiW card doesn't "pay for itself" as quickly, but the percentage off the things that you would otherwise have to pay full price for can make it worth it after a number of meals/bottles of wine. As always, you need to do the math.

Always fun to be back in the office after a week of vacation.:headache:

Welcome back. What's wrong? Did they change your phone ringtone to "It's a Small World" while you were gone? :scared1:

Boo for no "special modifications".

Hooray for shameless plugs! :thumbsup2

OK - you Dads that have done the Bibbidity Bobbidity Boutique for your DD....

Do you reserve this at the 180 day mark just like an ADR?

Does the hair/makeup/nails package include the sash as well?

Is it really worth it to do the $190 package?!?! (I can't believe I'm even considering this!!)

Thanks!
