She's already under orders to find out who the photo manager and some of the photog's are as well as the entertainment crew. I'm hoping for Tiza as opposed to Trent, the odious, dry, foul-mouth pig in a blanket (or oaf will work well too) whom is decidedly NOT funny nor personable in any manner (ok did I really just type that). Sorry, but he's not my favorite guy. He's arrogant in my opinion. Remember I've been exposed to Ian, David, Pikey, and now hope for a reoccurrence of Tiza but don't think she'll be on here. Sigh. Anyone else hope for someone else?
We all have our preferences and some personalities just clash. I think Trent and David both do a great job as club host. I've had a blast sailing with both of them. Of course, depending on my mood, sometimes I myself am a dry, foul-mouthed, arrogant pig.
I sailed on the Wonder's 1/15/12 MR cruise. Here's what I know for Cruise Staff for Hawaii. The Club Host will be Daniel. He's new to
DCL (shadowed Trent on my cruise, took over on the 1/22/12 cruise), but seemed quite nice. I've since seen reports from cruisers that he's doing a great job and is really funny. I believe Trent said he would not be on for Hawaii. I don't know about Tisa, but I only know of her as a Club Host so she couldn't be on in that capacity. Stephen, Becky, and Charlotte all said they'd be on. Ponz and Frankie would not be. I don't know about Drew, Emma, or (DJ) Laura.
Christiaan will be our Cruise Director, but I don't know who will be asst CD.
I'm wondering about the contract entertainment. The only confirmed I've heard is John Charles, but I haven't heard anything about possible headline celebrity entertainment (for example, we had Susan Egan on the Wonder's Panama Canal Cruise).
For whoever was asking about 20somethings sailing on the cruise - While my 20s are behind me, most of the guys in my improv group are in that age bracket and I'm used to dealing with them all the time.
Also, I know I didn't followup with anything for the DIS Navigator. I only recall a couple of people saying they may be interested in the improv workshop so I'm going to wait until we're on the ship and check out the cruise-at-a-glance page and at our meet & greet on the first day, I'll try gauging interest again. The beauty of improv is that it doesn't require me packing anything special or much prep work for that matter.
