Sew much to do, sew little time - but it was worth it! New PTR link posted! ~~~~~~~~~

D. Had so much fun following you on your journey with your girls. Sad it's almost over.

I just upgraded my phone a couple of months ago. I had an LG Neon "feature" phone and was not feeling the love for it because it couldn't do much more than make calls and text with great reliability. So when the battery started going on it, I started to look around. I had a Blackberry years ago and DH had before getting his Galaxy Nexus. I considered getting the Nexus but it felt awkward in my hand (it was twice as wide and more than half again as tall as the Neon). I also looked at the Nokia Lumia and Galaxy S2. I ended up going with the S2 for the feel of it, ease of use and the tons of apps available for it. DH wanted me to wait until the S3 came out but no one could tell us a firm date it would be available in Canada. They just recently came out here and I have to tell you I am glad I went witht he S2. The S3 is slightly wider and longer than DH's Nexus which is slightly larger than the S2. I think it is the extra width that throws off how it feels in my hand. I absolutely love my S2! I use it a lot more than my previous phone. The Android apps are easy to download and use too. My advice it to go to a store and hold them in your hands, like you would use them, for 5 minutes or so. I don't think you would be disappointed with either the S2 or S3.

Pirate Goofy pics are so cute...love V's outfit!!!! That skirt is soooooooo cute! princess: I love brown and turquoise together~my favorite color combination to wear! I honestly have four sets of brown and turquoise jewelery because I like to wear those colors so much! :lmao:

I apologize for not posting in a while. We were out of town visiting my parents and hanging out at the beach. I was catching up on my phone but had to go back and look at all your pictures again since they were so small on the phone. I am very glad I did. Your photopass pictures are amazing. So many cute ones of the girls and you. I think those pictures were worth the cost of your trip. V got lots of love from Goofy but she looked so cool in her Goofy customs. LOVE IT.

Your bags are beautiful. I love Mary Poppins and the wallet looks fabulous. The Pluto bag is the best :worship::worship: (does this smiley face keep disappearing or is it just me? - How can I comment on your bags with out it :confused3 ). I was lovin' the ears & tongue but that little tail is so cute. You really did something great with that bag.

I guess when this TR is over you will just have to start a new PTR!

This message is for Victoria: Your bag is amazing. You did a wonderful job creating something so beautiful. You clearly have a great eye for design (this bag, your Goofy t-shirt). :worship:

I love all the pictures with Pirate Goofy! We have never had a chance to see him and I think my kids would love to see him so hopefully this trip we will see him!

You techinically do have another trip planned-albeit in your head currently-but why not put it out there and then it will really happen right! That's the way it works, you start talking about it on the DIS and before you know it you have the trip planned and your ADR's done!

I only have one more post to do, and this TR will be over.

:scared: Then - what shall I do? :scared:

D~

you just start a new PTR :thumbsup2 you can add details as you get them!

love all the Goofy's PP, you can tell how much fun V and Goofy had!

Hey D! Once again I have to tell you how great your new bag is. The tongue sticking out is just too cute. V did a great job with her bag. She is after my own heart. Looovvve Tink.:goodvibes

So I already said a little on you FB page but wanted to share more on here.

I had a HTC Wildfire before and never had any problems getting to my app at WDW (I also have t-mobile) but after downloading just a couple apps I had no more memory so I would have to delete apps to keep my phone working alright. I ended up downloading some of those apps on my ipod. About 3 weeks ago I was walking the mall and stoped at the kiosk and asked when I was able to upgrade my phone. I was suprised when I was told that I was available for an upgrade then. I didn't get a phone right away but went home and thought about it. Did my reserch.

I must admite that I really wanted the Samsung Galaxy S III but I couldn't justify the extra money it would cost, so I ended up getting the Samsung Galaxy SII and love it. It has a great camera with a flash, it has a big screen (but not to big that it is hard to work with), it is very simple to use, and has alot of memory (though you will need a micro SD card for music and pics). I have already downloaded alot of apps and still have alot of memory to add more. I have the Dis app (didn't even know they had one:confused3), the TP app, the Mobile Magic app, a disney countdown widget, the MyFitnessPal app and some others. There is even a Photobucket app that you can add pics from you phone to photobucket. Love it. (there is also a flashlight app that I really like.)

Honestly if I wasn't saving for the trip and watching every cent I spend I would have gone with the SIII, but alas that wasn't the case. I am quite happy with my SII and am fine with everything it has. I would have liked to be able to get pics from videos but I hear there is an app for that (read it somewhere but can't find it now.)

Can't wait to hear what you decide.:thumbsup2

I think I can post my links now

Just got my first sewing machine and embroidery machine, wish me luck!

Corrine 1973, Do you chat on TP Lines? My name is the same as it is here. I spend way too much time online, mostly lurking and learning so much from everyone.

D, I have loved your TR, hope to see a PTR soon after this closes. I love all your pics. So fun to see someone elses trip. And I look forward to seeing what your next bag will be.

Thank you - I am so sad too...

You DO realize you don't need confirmed dates to do another PRE TR...right? Otherwise I have to find another place to hang out! LOL

Thanks so much for the review... I did go to the store yesterday, and I have to agree with you, the s3 is so much bigger than th s2! My neuron was quite small, then only thing that I really liked about the s3 vs the s2, is that the S3 had the actual "home button" - the s2 has the button, but it's not a real button - if ya kwim? I also really liked the idea of "bumping" to transfer pictures - but then who would I bump to? LOL No one I know irl has an s3. :confused3

Yes, they did have a great time - and I was kind of shocked when the PP photographer actually took a lot of pictures. :upsidedow

Thanks for the excellent review Corri - I really appreciate you coming on here to tell me your thoughts. :cheer2: I agree totally about the s3, I just couldn't justify that much $$ - especially considering that I've never had an android before... a. I have no idea what I am doing. :scared: b. I have no idea what I am missing. I am the person, when I go to the car dealership, I look at the brand new cars, so I know what I want to buy in 5 years - LOL... So, there really is no reason that I need all the features of the s3 - I don't think?

Thanks so much for coming back to post the links!!! I need to go check them out!

So, lots of IRL stuff yesterday...

Bag update: I managed to finish both appliques... I am super duper happy with both of them - despite how easy the one looks like it is, it was actually a lot more difficult than you would think and took me about 2 more hours to do than I thought it would. :confused3 I plan to start assembly today. :cheer2: Then I sill have a wallet to do - so maybe Sunday for pictures?

Phone update: So, I sent Josh a text yesterday, asking him if he would meet me at the Tmobile store after work... We went in, I held both the s3 and the s2 in my hands... Definately like the feel of the s2 better. I am used to such a small phone - and the s2 is a giant! I can't imagine doing the s3 - it was insanely huge! :crazy2: Anyways... They talked us into a rate plan change... Insisted that even after I added my new data plan - we would save $15/mo on our bill. :confused3 Honestly, I will believe it when I see it. But changing your rate plan when you upgrade your phone is the best time to do it - then your contract starts over for everything all at the same time, and you don't have a staggaring contract. I hate contracts anyways. :scared:

So.... I was looking at phones, Josh was looking at phones. Josh was not going to get a new phone - we just ordered a new battery for his phone (which is in perfect working order and not a scratch on it)... Then the gal at Tmobile told us that there was a rebate going on now... If you purchased 2 Samsung phones, it was basically BOGO. Well, we were planning to buy one anyways - so we might as well get two? We wanted 2 different color phones (they come in white and titanium), and that store was out of white... so we had to drive to a different store to get the phones. In the end... I got the white s2, Josh got the titanium s2 - they were $199 each, but I am mailing in our $250 rebate form - so we got a little bit better than BOGO. I am very happy with that offer, considering in the end, the phones ended up being way cheaper than what I thought they would be. :goodvibes So, now you all are done hearing about my phone saga - I am sure you are relieved.

If anyone has any good app recommendations - I would love to hear them! So far, I just have the basics... FB, The Dis, TP and MFP....

Hmmm... Oh Josh took me out for dinner last night too. The girls are gone for the next 3 days at my bff's house to help her with her garage sale. So, we celebrated, and he took me to a Japanese Steakhouse hibachi grill - I've never been, and he's always wanted to take me. It was interesting - if not awkward. First of all - we were the only ones at the table. Then it looked like rain, so Josh had to run outside and put up the top on the Jeep - while he was out there, our grillin' guy (I am sure he has a real name) came to cook our food... So half the time he was throwing stuff around - I was sitting there all by myself... awkward. So, Josh finally came back and the guy finished our food - we were eating so peacefully. Then they seated about 8 people at the grill across from us... and they all sat and STARED at us eating our food - very uncomfortable... the one girl was giving me insane hateful eyes. :confused3 She was a teenager - so no clue? So, Josh and I ate the rest of our meal really quickly and paid up front... I am sure our server thought we ditched our tab for a minute - but we just felt to weird and awkward.

Have a spectacular day everyone!!!

Again loving all the photos. Pirate Goofy is one of our favorite characters. Last year we were waiting near the POTC after everyone had done the PL. As Goofy was leaving to take a break he started sword fighting with DS6. It was so cute.... I just wish I would have had taken some cute photos.

I didn't know about the frog one either - neither did Joanna... She just asked if we wanted any Magic Shots, and I said sure - I asked her what she had and she went through the list. When she was posing us for the frog picture, she said she was just guessing and it may or may not turn out because she had no idea what it looked like.

Awesome that you got 2 boxes of CDs... How many pictures is that?

D~

We had about 980 pictures after all the edits:scared: I think we were shy of 500 before the edits.

It's here... My very last offical post. :sad2:

We only have a few Photopass pictures from this day... Remember - we spent most of the day in the First Aid building... No photographers there. :confused3

Oh shoot - I forgot you were leaving early... Do you want me to just bring it with me to Charlotte? I can do that. Or I can wait to mail until you get home. I'd hate to chance it if I mail it today and it gets there after you leave. :sad1: Totally forgot about that - so sorry.

no problem D~ if you can fit it in your carry-on that would be great, if not mail it later on....my mail is getting held and I would worry they'd lose the package!
