Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

Staying at POR 10/20-10/26. Received an email from TA today saying we were chosen for the test. I was able to select FP+, including Illuminations on Sunday 10/20, but no other fireworks/parades. No access to bands yet. I have not checked in online yet, either.
 
I didn't get an email but I checked MDE today and Fast Pass + is enabled for my 10/2-10/7 trip at POP. I picked my fast passes but I didn't have an option for Magic Bands.

Similar for me, Oct 19-25. Got illuminations but no parade or wishes options. No MB yet either. I am excited, too!

Has anyone who has access to MBs NOT linked a CC to you reservation when doing online check in?

I don't normally link a card for charging privileges and am wondering if this could hurt our chances of getting MBs at BLT in early October.

I haven't even done online check in (were still almost 70 days out), and I can pick magic bands for the 2nd half of my split stay.

I don't have a cc linked and have not done online check in. I was able to do FP+ but my only color choice so far for MB is gray. Hoping more open up before my customize deadline.
 
No Magic Band option for me yet, but maybe it's still too early... :(

I've been playing around with FP+ selections and realized it's a lot more difficult than I thought it would be to decide when I want to ride a certain ride, in addition to fitting in our afternoon pool breaks. :scratchin This is going to require more thinking than I thought. :rotfl:

Really bummed to not find Wishes, Illuminations, etc. in the selections. I was definitely going to use a FP+ for those.
 
Just received an email from my travel agent saying we were chosen to test magic bands for our trip. I went in and grey is the only choice of color. I have till 9-1 to customize them. I am going to wait a few days and see if more choice come available. 40 days!!
 
We are staying at AoA from October 7th - October 21st and have been able to select FP+ but no sign of customizing bands yet?

Does anyone if we will be able to customize? I have linked our tickets to our account. Do you have to have gotten tickets from Disney?
 
I don't know if this is the right answer but I was in the same boat as you. This morning when I was clicking around the mobile app, I clicked the Profile link and it think I also clicked 'About Me'. When I did that I was prompted to sign-in (which I thought I already was). When I did, an option for Magic Bands appeared (on the Profile page). I only have the gray option and I think it is bc I haven't done online check-in yet. Can't find how to do that on the app yet. Hope that helps.

Also meant to say the I had put our UT tickets on MDE last night.
 
Got on MDE page this morning and a pop-up appears : MB and FP+ invitation!!! I was so happy and excited. But once I click on manage my Magic Bands, nothing :worried: ...

Same when we try to do FP+, it says that it's not available...

Anyone has a clue on what that might be?

Yesterday I was able to pick my FP+ and today the MB option was there too, I only had the gray option :confused3 so I hope it will change soon.

We will be at POP 10/19-10/26, I did the online check-in a few days ago as well.
 
Just looked and my MB are there to activate as well as my FP+. Only have the grey color option for a color choice. Did my online check-in at the 60 day point:) Staying at POR 10/3-10/9:):)
 
My DME is saying I can choose FP+ options but when I try it won't let me ,I need valid park tickets.
I have linked resort reservation and it says
MYW pck + free dining 6-16 th Oct at YC we booked through Virgin Holidays so do we have to wait till check in to get park tickets(14 day park hop tickets were included in package)any ideas?

Really wanted to make FP choices now.
 
Staying at AKV Jambo House from Oct. 5-7 and then BLT from Oct. 7-10.

I didn't get an invite but after the Online Check-In, I was able to reserve FP+.

As we are visiting the parks only for 1 day, I had earlier reserved breakfast and dinner, both at the MK, Royal Table for Breakfast, Be Our Guest for Dinner. I chose Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Under The Sea as attractions for FP.

The "Best Choice" it gave me had the first ride just in time for our breakfast and it also said so that it would coincide with our reservation. However, some of the other choices they gave, like 1PM it also said I had a dining reservation for that time which is not true. No idea how they came up with that... :confused3

Still seems to be a bit buggy.
 
We will be at Pop Oct 19-26 and I don't have the option for MB yet, we are able to pick FP+ now :cool1: I was hoping to have the FP+ option for the MSEP and fireworks on the 19th however it's not showing up in my FP selection :confused3 Has anyone else been able to reserve FP+ for these 2 events on the 19th?
 
Has anyone who is able to make FP+ reservations actually gotten a formal invite from Disney to test the FP+ and MBs? I'm curious if, even after you have selected your FPs, if you have gotten an invite.

I'm trying to figure out if this is still testing or more of a slow roll out. I'm kind of paranoid that if I choose FP+ I will get to the parks and not be able to use the old FP system.
 
My cousin is checking into Pop at the end of Sept and he never did recv a formal invite from Disney to test but was able to schedule FP+ and he also customized, ordered and recvd his MB's. I'm hoping that the FP+ will work once in the park as well.:thumbsup2
