4 Parks in 3 Days!! EPCOT w/F&W & MK w/MNSSHP~1880 pics so far! DHS almost complete!

Glad you had a better experience on our Splash Mountain. Such a fun ride.

I didn't realize you could get your party bracelets back there. Good to know for future :)

I did enjoy Splash this time.....so I may give the one at DL another shot.....but who knows.....lol

Derek was able to pull info up on his phone and found there were a couple stations set up to get wrist bands instead of having to go all the way back to the park entry gates.

So I may be hit & miss this week for updates.......we are moving, so won't have a lot of time to sit & deal with the snail pace photobucket has been uploading lately. I will try to get a post in here & there......Please don't give up on me!!

Photobucket has been a BIG pain lately. I try to get on early in the morning which seems to help quite a bit!

First off.....sorry about the delay here.....we're moving and so it has pretty much filled this last week. I have a few minutes, so thought I'd see what I could get done. (we will see how Photobucket is behaving today).

As I left off, we had just picked up our MNSSHP wrist bands and trick or treat bags and now we're walking by the Crystal Palace.

We are heading towards Fantasyland and passed by the castle.

We were headed to get in line for the Seven Dwarfs. This was the only character line that was a priority for us. A few more pics as we were walking.

We found the Meet-n-Greet area for the Seven Dwarfs and joined the line around 6:35pm. The line looked short & then we realized it weaved around a bit......not too bad. They were supposed to start around 7pm but they came out early. Mike jumped out of line to get some pics of them.

The moon.

While we were in line. Derek hates having his picture taken.

This was on the construction walls for the Mine Train.

Our pictures with the Seven Dwarfs!! We got done at 7:15pm.....so really not a bad wait on a sold out night!

Heading back thru Fantasyland towards Main Street, the castle was lit up.

We got to Main Street and the area was already getting pretty full for the parade, so we found a spot by Casey's Corner & across from the Ice Cream Parlor. We had a couple families on the curb in front of us & then we took up the spots behind them in the roped off area. We spread out so not to be crowded......big crowds like this are not good for my anxiety.

While we were waiting, Mike took pics of the pumpkins along Main Street (well, the ones in our area).

The decorated street lamps.

More pumpkins.

Now can someone answer me if these pumpkins are real? Disneyland has carver's on sight that carve during the day and they replace pumpkins as needed. I've seen pictures of these carvings and they are really awesome. Just wondered if WDW did this too....I never saw anyone, nor did I see the characters like DL offers.

These are of the castle during the Villain's Show. We could see the projections from our spot, but not much of anything else.

Balloons!

How is everyone adjusting to the new place? do kids like their rooms? It looked nice in pics :goodvibes

Love how far out Derek is in Dwarves pic, looks like he trying to run away :rotfl:

That was not a bad wait at all.

Not sure on those pumpkins. :)

can't wait to see how you liked our parade :goodvibes

The kids love the new place but Shy has taken a step backwards in her toile ting......darn it.....she had gone a week with no accidents prior to the move.

Derek not a big fan of any picture.....lol

We were glad they started early and the line moved pretty good.

The parade will be next!

I just love MK at night...great job capturing all the fun things on main street!

aw... That stinks. Sure once she gets used to the house, she will start back up again with no accidents :goodvibes

Mike snuck another picture of Derek as we waited for the parade to start.

The Headless Horseman!

A short little dance party with Phineas & Ferb as we wait for the parade.

While the dance party was going on, this guy came up and kept try to shove his kid and himself into our area with the other couple families we were sitting with. He was extremely rude and commenting on how rude WE were for not letting his kid up to see, yadda yadda yadda. Pretty much everyone in our little area all said the same thing as me~~~we thought it was pretty rude for him to expect us to save THEM spots for a parade that he knew would be starting soon. It was rude for him to think he could get his kid a front row seat right when things were starting. If you want a front row seat, then feel free to plop a squat at least an hour prior like everyone else did. We got there an hour prior and ended up in the 2nd row.....the families in front of us had been sitting there for 2 hours and were no way giving up their seats for this guy & his kid. Ok, ranting over.......let's continue!!

Here comes the parade!!

Two of my favorite couples~~Mickey & Minne and Donald & Daisy.

Pooh and his friends.

Rabbit

Captain Hook & Smee

Captain Jack.......I sure wish we could have gotten a close up of him but neither Mike or I captured a clear one.

Up next were the Grave Diggers. I wish Mike could have captured the sparks when they scraped the road (does anyone else wonder how good that is for Main Street??)

Haunted Mansion headstones (including Madame Leota's).

Ballroom Ghost Dancers.

Haunted Mansion Ghosts.

Hoe Down Dancers.

Clara Bell Cow.

Chip & Dale, Country Bears, Brer Bear, Brer Fox & Brer Rabbit.

Brer Rabbit.

Skeleton Band.

Villains!

Hyenas......

Villains!

Pluto!

Candy Corn Cones.

Goofy's Candy Company.

So we decided we wanted a different view for the fireworks and ended up moving in front of the Crystal Palace. There was a railing that we were able to sit/lean on. It ended up being a pretty good spot. Most of the people were standing at the railing across from us and they grouped up over there....but we were single file since we were on the railing and the rest of the area was used for a walkway. Before the fireworks started, they did a show with lots of projections on the castle (I can't remember if it was the Villian's show again or a different show).

Fireworks.......all Fireworks in this post!!!

Loved the show & the finale was WOW!!! I'm a huge fan of fireworks, so this was my favorite part of the party!!

So after the fireworks, there was a mass exodus of the park, so we headed up stream of the crowds and headed back into Adventureland to do a little Trick or Treating. Our first stop was the Enchanted Tiki Room.

One of the Halloween projections near Pirates of the Caribbean.

Captain Jack had a meet-n-greet, but the lines were too long for me, so Mike snuck a couple pics.

We trick or treated at Pirate's next.

Another one of the party projections.

Our 3rd and last trick or treating spot was up at Splash, that actually had a few different barrels to collect candy as you wandered thru all the queing area.

We decided to head out before the 2nd parade started. So we wandered thru a couple shops on Main Street on our way out.

As we were exiting under the railroad tracks.

One more party projection.

The floral entry in it's Halloween finest.

Goodbye Magic Kingdom!

We caught the bus back to the resort & had it to ourselves (maybe one other family). We had missed the end of the the fireworks crowd and missed the 2nd parade/party ending crowd. Yay for us!!

So Magic Kingdom does remind me of Disneyland for things like Main Street and the different lands.....other than that, MK is very different. It's huge to start with. Things that are the same at both parks, seem out of place (since I'm a Disneyland girl from childhood). Facades are different which also threw me off. The new Fantasyland area, we didn't even really get into except for Beast's castle.....but that's because we did dinner there. Definitely way too much to see and do in one day. I enjoyed our time here, but the crowds were much heavier here than they had been the day before at EPCOT.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party was fun, expensive but fun. We didn't really take advantage of the shorter ride times because to be honest with you.....with a sold out party, we didn't see where things we wanted to ride were shorter than they had been earlier in the day. The parade & fireworks crowds are....well.......CROWDED! The trick or treat stations were kinda fun, but I could have skipped them entirely. I wish we would have done some of the photopass pic opportunities. They had a guy set up outside POTC and I couldn't figure out why.....it wasn't until we got on the bus back to the resort that I realized he was doing a "magical" party pic. Oh well........ Would I pay to do this again? Maybe...... I loved the parade & especially loved the fireworks.....but from what I understand, the regular fireworks are pretty darned good & I could have seen the Electrical Parade.....which I miss terribly at Disneyland. I thought going early October on a Thursday night would have meant a smaller crowd but was shocked to hear it sold out that morning.

One last shot of our candy we collected by making the 3 stops we did.

Finishing off our Magic Kingdom day is our Photopass Pics.

MK Entry

The pumpkins on Main Street with the Castle in the back.
