4 Parks in 3 Days!! EPCOT w/F&W & MK w/MNSSHP~1880 pics so far! DHS almost complete!

Yay, parade pics!!

Love when it gets real quiet and light dims and you hear horse coming..such a cool sound

Love those grave diggers. They are so fun to watch :thumbsup2

The halloween fireworks are awesome and the fact they are perimeter, I love. They only do that at special events and like 4th of July. The finale is my favorite part how it lights up entire park at end and looks like daylight. Amazing!!!!!

The Headless Horseman was pretty cool......wish we could have gotten a clearer picture.

If I could have handled the crowds, I would have loved to been centered to the castle for the fireworks. The fireworks surrounding you is really a neat feeling. We still had an awesome view!

My reply wouldn't post and then posted twice......so this is a non-post or reply.......lol

Loved all the updates since last time I saw your TR. Man I don't know WHY but I just don't get the posts in my email??? But as you know I had my own trip to DL then moving on top of it so this is the first I have had to check it out.

Loved all your Epcot pics and super excited about MK. SO many changes since we were there last and I can't WAIT to see them. I just put down a deposit for our trip next November. Can't wait!!

I LOVED the MVMCP at DW much better than DL. I did it once in Florida and 2 times at CA Adven and now once at DL. I love the parade and the fireworks better and I don't know if they still do it but you used to get pics taken for the party that were free.

Looking forward to your next installment!

No problem Kelly......I've been busy too with moving, so I put updates on when I could.

Yay for a November trip!!

The fireworks were awesome for the party but I love DL's fireworks too......so not sure paying extra for the party would be worth it again. I guess it would depend on whether we were taking kids or not. The party's are getting so expensive! I really hope Disneyland doesn't go to a Christmas party....that would be depressing since the parade & fireworks, snow on Main St., etc have always been free.

We are going to do 2 days at WDW in early Oct. Any suggestions must do or see. We will just be getting back from a disney cruise.

Well our favorite things were: EPCOT World Showcase (Food & Wine), AK~Lion King Show, MK~Monster's Inc Laugh Floor, PeopleMover & Country Bears, DHS~Backlot Tour.

Dining experiences: MK~Be Our Guest, DHS~50's PrimeTime Cafe

Day 3 in the parks.....today would be Animal Kingdom & Hollywood Studios. We started our day by catching the bus to AK at 7:15 to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hour from 8-9am.

We got in one of the lines and had about 8 people in front of us. The CM's came out and they were starting to scan Magic Bands & tickets and then the whole system glitched. No one was getting thru. They had about a dozen people make it thru before they had to totally reboot their entire system. Finally it started working & we started moving towards the gate. About 10 after 8, we had finally stepped foot into the park.

Our destination was Expedition Everest. As we headed that direction, we saw the Tree of Life.

We made it to Asia.

Our first look at Expedition Everest.......isn't that a beautiful sight early in the morning??!!

We started our way thru the queing area.

We pretty much had the walk in to ourselves.....so Mike got a lot of good pics of the artifacts. We made it to the loading platform & go on for our first ride. We were seated towards the front/middle area. (we kinda had our choice....figured first time, the middle area would be a good place to test it out).

AAWWWWWWWWW, the tracks are broken!!!

We exited the ride.....which was AWESOME.....into the gift shop.

We left after getting our on-ride photo added to our photopass+ card and headed back towards the entry to EE.

We exited from our first ride & walked right back thru the que & loaded for our 2nd ride. Derek said we needed to try the ride from the very back because it's a whole different experience back there.

What do you think of this view?

AAWWWWWWW, the track is STILL broken......lol

Mike tried to catch the Yeti in a picture.

What a great ride......my favorite this trip. I loved that we got to ride it two times in a row with no wait. Derek was right.....what a rush sitting in the back....the g-forces suck you back in your seat during the backwards part. It was a blast!

These pictures were from around EE and in Asia as we headed back towards the Safari ride & Tusker House.

Oh good, you are updating again. I thought I pop on and look

glad you enjoyed Everest. Mike got a good shot of the Yeti :thumbsup2

I have not been on this ride in a few years. I do remember enjoying it though last time we went

Yup I'm trying to update between everything else. I sat down and laid out all the pics to use when our internet was down. So I just have to have a small time frame to do a few updates!

Loved EE.....such a fun ride!

Sure wish I was riding EE instead of going to work today...I love the quietness of AK that you captured!

After 2 exhilarating rides on Expedition Everest, we took a slow walk back thru Asia. Here are a few pics of the Tree of Life.

.....and this is why waking up super early & making it to the park for Early Entry is a good idea!!

What to do next?

We decided to do the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail.

Unfortunately, we didn't get a clear shot of these.

Icky bugs & critters....but also some cute ones!!

We went to the FP kiosk for the Kilimanjaro Safari but the return time would be cutting it close after our breakfast. Derek pointed out "supervisor" standing outside the entry to the safari and so we went over and explained that we had a breakfast reservation for Tusker House but wanted a FP for the safari. We were concerned we wouldn't be able to be back on time, so he said he'd gather us some FP's and to find him after our breakfast.

So we headed down to Tusker House.

We checked in and got in line to meet Donald.

Donald needed a quick break........

Love all the details Disney does!

Our picture with Donald!!

I love the drawings of giraffes on chalk boards....

Glad manager was able to help you out with Fps:goodvibes

After our picture with Donald, we were escorted into Tusker House and seated. Derek & Mike went & got food while I waited at the table. Derek was in heaven.....they had Krispy Kreme Doughnuts!! This is his first plate.....lol

This was Mike's first plate.

I waited on going to the buffet because Goofy was coming up behind us. Goofy!! (the boys decided not to do pictures with the characters) :(

Mickey Mouse!!

Daisy!!

I got my breakfast & then Mike went out to get pics of the food at the buffet.

More from the Tusker House.

Let's finish up with the food porn!

$29.99/adult x3 = $89.97 + $6.30 tax = $96.27 on the Dining Plan. Tip was not included, so make sure you cover that!!

The Tusker House offered a nice selection of food choices for breakfast. They had the standard fare as well as some unique offerings. The wait staff is kept busy but we found all of them to be very friendly. It was fun seeing the characters in safari outfits. It does get a tad noisy, so be aware if you or someone in your party is sensitive to things like that.

We left Tusker House & headed back to the Kilimanjaro Safari entrance to look for the supervisor CM we had spoke to before breakfast. He had gathered a couple different sets of FP's and let us decide which set to use! It was so nice of him to do that!! We took the ones that were good right then & got in line. We had maybe a 5 minute wait...... Here is our safari rig.

You will have to excuse me for not knowing what the names are for all the animals we saw.....but that isn't keeping me from sharing the pictures!!

Rhino (I knew that one!!)

Hippos...........

Gators!!

Giraffes (I love these!!)

I should know what these are, but I'm having a brain fart.......

I think this was a wildebeast?

I think they told us that these formations are Ant Hills........

More Giraffe pics!

We're guessing this guy wasn't playing nice with others or was in the wrong area all together. There were Animal Wranglers out and they had just shot a sedation dart.
