I finally decided on a title so I wanted to post it before I changed my mind. I had about 20 options running through my head.
friends.
So before I begin I have to share that this was one of the funnest and craziest trips ever. First of all, it was Disney but a cruise which we learned is pretty different from doing the parks. While it's still Disney, it's a different Disney. I had done lots of reading and researching but unlike land trips, I wrote very little down before the trip. And even though I had read so much I wasn't quite sure what to expect other than good food, great service, a beautiful boat, and 2 amazing ports of call. Can I say the trip was all that and a whole bunch more hence the title: you bet your aft we had a good time. This trip really deserves a more PG13 rating in some parts but we'll keep it G for the youngins'.
As most of you know, this trip was my son Joshua's bar mitzvah gift. The girls and DH have since forgiven us for taking a Disney Cruise without them. While it was amazing, I am still not sure that cruising would appeal all that much to DH. We'll see.
Our cruise was on the gorgeous Disney Wonder:
Our cast included myself and Joshua:
And our new friend Pam:
I can't tell you how much we enjoyed spending time with Pam so while originally we just happened to be on the same cruise, we ended up spending most of the cruise together so I am including her in on the cast. I think surviving 5 days with us has well earned her a place in the cast (whether she likes it or not).
The Wonder's itinerary was:
Miami
sea day
Cozumel
sea day
Castaway Cay
Miami
Please stick around. I promise you won't be bored.
