I called the number from the rewards website which i think is the same 800 number on the card and just pressed 0 for a CSR

I am on the phone with Chase now and they say they have no promotions nor are they showing any scheduled. She put me back on hold.

Thats not true at all. I have seen it happen several times. One off the top of my head was 2012 and AoA little mermaid rooms were not included. Everyone canceled those rooms then to go with another value and then a few weeks later they were added. And that's the only time they have been included in free dining since they opened with a public offer.
I think POR has also opened up once in the past too.

You are absolutely correct with your info. Disney will revise and has, based on cancellations. If a resort has met it booking quota its excluded and if it needs to fill rooms it will. In December 2012 we were able to get POR a month before arrival for FD and Disney even extended the FD window that year so we also shifted our dates to stay into the New Year. I will say that POR was not at capasity during our stay and several reported on FB the same for other resorts. The same year we had friends book last minute and they stayed at POFQ.

I just got free dining for 9/28-10/4 at coronado I called chase and asked about it and the rep read me the whole info page she had and said it starts for public on May 7th she said started YESTERDAY for chase card holders. I told her disney said no and she gave me a PIN number and a different phone number I will share it but idk if all the pins are the same or not there is a pin for value that i dont have but she said for moderates D365N and this is for chase disney visa cardholders only until May 7th I called this number 407-939-7795 which is what chase gave me to call and they updated my reservation to be a disney chase visa magic your way plus free dining package> chase also said that the package has to be a 6 night 7 day with tickets to be eligible it was for whole month of sept til oct 3 and then there were many dates for oct and nov as well (sorry I was in a frenzy when trying to get all the info she was giving me) its now on my My Disney Experience page listing the free dining so Im positive I have gotten it...I would suggest calling Chase and asking for this info to make sure nothing is individualized per acct holder but didnt sound like it

I am dying to know that as well. Every other year it has and that is when the rest of my family on DVC points is going. So obviously we want to go

thats why ive never had a free dining before Ive always gone in Oct and its never been a week that was included it was just a weird thing that the airfares were so high from here that we changed to September this time.

We are another family of 5, that was hoping for POR. Our backup was 2 connecting rooms at Music. If that is not included do they have connecting rooms at Sports or Pop? I am not interested in the suites at all, to me they seem to have no benefit. If I am paying more for boarding I'd rather have 2 rooms.

That's the same code they gave me.

they were very nice and didnt question anything it was a different phone number than the regular reservations number too though so maybe they are set up for it. but all she said ws let me put in the pin and then said yup its taking it and that was it now its on there im very excited Ive never been able to take advantage of these promotions b4 and my package still stayed he same price

Is it inappropriate for us to ask those of you who have called Visa to share the codes? I don't know if a code will be necessary tomorrow (*fingers crossed*), but I'd like to save them the hassle of answering that question hundreds of times if I can help it!

I was going to as too, if not if they'd be willing to PM them to me. I understand not wanting to post them. I don't want to call now, but would like them I the AM in case my CM isn't up to date.

you have to call the rewards people not the credit card itself. I said one of my friends was given a PIN for a free dining promtion but Disney told me it hadnt started and then the ady read me a whole announcement paper that was very extensive and told me it started yesterday . when i tried it they had no problem doing it on my reservation...was a different story this morning so maybe they are releasing it some time today in the afternoon

She is telling me Debit cards that are Disney are not included ever that it is only Credit cards.

love the look of ASMu but if the food court is being rehabbed aned will close it for a few months like ASSp last year that is abig negative. we stayed at ASSp in 2009, their food court was redone last fall and when the All Stars share buses it's the first pickup and drop off.

This is why I'm debating between ASSp and pop for our adult trip in Sept. Do I want the dedicated busses or am I ok with being the first on/off if they share? We really only sleep at the resort so the amenities and food court aren't a big deal.

i dont think its a big deal I guess its what Disney already has the Chase rep gave it to me and just said to give it to them when I told her they told me it wasnt offered yet because she was sure it started yesterday

To be completely honest, if I had 30% off POFQ... I would stick with that... Especially since it looks like the option for the only real moderate is CSR that might be included in free dining... I am short enough than I would fit on a twin... However I am the exception (I am a whole 5'1) my fiancés feet would hang right off!

I have that. The 30 off pofq. I'm sticking with it and ill pay for my food.

I called and got the code from Chase. I am talking to a cast member right now but it doesn't look like she is going to honor it. She is saying it is not a valid code and asking if I know the start date of the promotion. I told her May 1st. She keeps putting me on hold. I will keep you all posted.

Thank you for posting this - it is helpful. I called Disney Rewards and asked if they had a code for free dining that they could give me (after putting in all my info, of course). He gave me the same code as you - D365N. This was a code specific to the moderate category. I asked him if dates in November were included, and he said yes. I asked him when it was valid, and he said May 7th. Long story short, I called the number you included and was told the code wasn't valid, and all they had were summer promotions, etc. I'm not sure why it didn't work, but I am at least happy to have heard from DV that there is in fact a free dining promotion coming, with dates into fall. When we'll actually get to book it remains a mystery, but things are certainly looking good.
