Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Arrived at YC CL this morning around 9:30am. Room wasn't quite ready so we headed to the parks.
Received a text about 45 min later it was in fact ready.
Pixie Dust for sure! I booked a club level standard view. We were upgraded to a water view. We look out directly over the dock and lighthouse!!! Room 5173. It is a king room, WITH a full sized sofa. Full meaning a large sofa with a queen size sofa sleeper. And a large coffee table, desk and chair. Usual dresser etc. Large full balcony. It's very nice and seems oddly large.

Edit-forgot to add the view picture. Really nice. We should see a full view of illuminations from this room.

Congrats on the upgrade! Love the view (and the room looks very nice, too). Hope you have a great time :).

We check in next Monday. So excited to get there!

Have a great trip :wizard:.

Does anyone know how many Bunk Bed rooms there are for CL at AKL?
I really want CL again but DGD really wants a Bunk Bed room.
I currently have a Pool View room booked but am so tempted to call and switch us. I wondered if we had any chance at all of getting a bunk bed room? Touring Plans shows 1 but I know their room parameters are often off
If it is right then no, I won't do it. The odds of us getting the 1 Bunk bed room for our 1 night are slim to none. We'll just stay put, maybe book the Night Safari instead. It won't replace what I'll miss from the CL but it would keep her happy

Are there any King Bed CL rooms on the Zebra trail midway near the elevators/ laundry room/pool etc? This is my favourite area and I am hoping to get a room there in November :)

question to DIS vets from Beach Club. We are going to stay at BC CL this August. Family of 4 with 2 kids ages 5 & 7. We have Standard View. does it make any sense to make a room request? if so which one to request?

same kind of question for Poly since we will be doing split stay.

I didn't stay CL at BC, but my only request there was for a full size balcony. Our request was fulfilled, and it was so nice to have that little bit of extra space for everyone to spread out.

Can anyone tell me where the one-bedroom suites are located in AKL? I can't seem to find them on a map anywhere! I think there are only 5x in total, do all of these offer a good view of the animals?

YC hot apps tonight: roast beef w/ mashed potatoes & gravy (omg delicious!) & chicken nuggets

Cold apps: tomato & feta, orzo salad, chick peas w/ lentils & mushrooms in a spinach phyllo cup (also yummy!).

We won't be at hotel for deserts tonight, but they seem to be mostly the same ( 3 or 4 different mini cupcakes, 3 kinds of cookies, the smores mousse with 1 or 2 different items per night.

I love the menu bulletins! The evening apps are something my whole family is looking forward to enjoying.

I had the same question for BC standard. I tried touring plans and they have no touring plan picks for BC standard CL. I tried sorting it by full and partial balcony and it still didn't have any recommendations. It claimed all rooms have full balconies but according to our wise dis pros they dont. I stayed poly club standard last yr. They are all in the Hawaii building. They are all pretty much the same except for balconies. 3rd floor has balconies, 2nd doesn't and 1st has patios. The lounge is on 2nd floor but there are stairs and an elevator from both 1st and 3rd. All were convenient imo. We requested 3rd floor. Checked in around 12 and got 1st. We asked to be switched and they did. Loved the balcony. Overlooked the small pool.

If you don't care too much about view, you might want to request close
to lounge. That puts you close to the elevator too. Then request if you want a full balcony. The halls can be a hike after a day in the park. I'd prioritize those kinds of things & not a specific room.

Thank you so much for the updates focusondisney! They sound amazing!

How are the fruit options for breakfast/snacks/dinner?

Quick WL report...

The wine/cheese selections tonight were:

Assorted sushi nigiri with pickled ginger and wasabi

Antipasto platter with house made dips

Bread service and dip

Lemon chicken garden vegetable salad

Potato chowder

Vegetable samosas with cucumber yogurt

PB&J

Baked pasta

Just wanted to give everyone an idea of the types of things they have here!

If they are the DVC one-bedrooms you're referring to, there are indeed only five and they offer pool view (3) or obstructed end of Savannah view (2).
