I figured opening day pricing would be a little lower than booking 6 months later...

Fall prices don't go up that much. You won't see a big difference between now and 6 months from now. Honestly if was going to do a Fall cruise on the Fantasy I'd wait for a GT rate.

I get your frustration. Bermuda was actually $189 less than what I predicted. However the Fantasy (17 mos out) was $100 higher than CURRENT rates for same sailing in 2017 (5 mos out). I was surprised as I expect a standard 3-5% increase over LY opening rates for same sailing same cat.

They (the poster you quoted) are probably in Central time. Ergo 7am their time IS 8am Eastern time.

I see some quotes for the Canadian cruises. Just curious how many of you are actually going to book one. It seems like it's either expensive or difficult to get to Quebec. Actually airfares are not bad from AZ, but the flights aren't great. Very time consuming multiple connections. I can be in Europe faster then I can get to Quebec. I looked at airfare from some of the East coast cities and it seemed pretty high.

Hi! This is the first time I have called on opening day so please forgive me for not getting a break-down of the cost per person. NONE of these are OBB/insurance/transfers but for some reason the very nice DCL lady included pre-paid gratuities and taxes and port fees (I didn't want to take up more of her time so I didn't ask to have them removed from the pricing---I'm sorry) so for 2 adults for the Transatlantic 9/9/18 on the Magic:

5A = $4,836.48
6A = $4,550.48
7A = $4,462.48

I also asked about the 4-night black-out holiday sailing on the Dream sailing 12/31/18 with the double dip visit to Castaway Cay for 2 adults including taxes, port fees and pre-paid gratuities:

R = $23,402.38
T = $12,842.38
V = $8,722.38
5A= $4,138.38
5B= $4,122.38
5C= $4,106.38
6A= $4,058.38

I hope that these prices help some people out with their future plans! I know that we did New Years 4 night on the Dream 2013/14 and we had a cat. V cabin for around $4,000 so it looks like prices for this sailing more than doubled in a 5 year span! Wow! Looks like I will be using my OBB in January 2019. Sigh.

Checking out the quoted prices for 9/27 out of Quebec City and.... Whaaaaaaaaaa?? That's crazy. I'm Gold and I was thinking of booking this tomorrow (I live in Montreal) but now I'm having massive second thoughts.
