OIY, I thought platinum would have a shot at slight better pricing. Those prices are nuts compared to other lines. We paid less than $2,000 on a 7-night on NCL last year for 2 in a verandah room! What a shame -- I pitty the gold and silver by the time they book!

I was more shocked at the insurance prices. I would never buy insurance through DCL.

Yep - there are 5 ports plus Canal. I'm guessing Canal is about $250 pp alone.

It most likely will be. Some boats change right after Halloween on the High Seas, and some take a cruise off... so I think the 17th is a safe bet...
